We all know well that, thanks to established stereotypes, it is dangerous to trust a woman driver with the steering wheel. Of course, it’s unfair on the part of men, but the fact remains a fact. Men, by their behavior, try in every possible way to prove that a woman has no place behind the wheel. In Switzerland, for example, men park in spaces designated specifically for women. Noticing such discrimination, the authorities decided to scare away the men. What, what did they do? They gave orders to paint the “women’s” parking lot pink and plant a flower garden nearby. A main goal was to at least somehow scare off the men. So, remember that pink is not the best option for meeting the opposite sex.

Lilac color in human psychology is the color of style. Piercing, mystical and strong. However, it is quite easy to overdo it. This is all because, in nature and in everyday life, this color is extremely rare (you can remember plums and grapes, but they are purple, not exactly lilac). The color lilac has a significant influence on the spiritual human condition: thanks to it, you can learn to “take” power (creative) from your consciousness and free yourself from deep-seated fears.

Lilac is a unique expression of identification, impressionability, passion and curiosity. (From the fact that it constantly fluctuates from blue to red, from “calm” sensitivity to impulsive desire).

Whitened lilac is the color of meditation. Here it means calm and balance, but at the same time, this color is distant, unearthly and alienated.

“Hiding” red and blue colors in its depths, it has a depressing effect on the human nervous system.

Lilac, like violet, is like a cooled red. In this regard, he “sounds” a little sad, extinguished and painful. He is loved by those who have a rather unstable character. Lilac influences blood vessels, on the psyche and heart.

Lilac color in the interior. A color scheme. How can this color be used correctly in an apartment or in the rooms in which you are located? Below you will find some interesting information regarding this.

So, let's start with your personal account. The color of eggplant (the one that is closer to purple) is perfect here. The lilac color will suit your bathroom very well: it will remind you of bouquets of lavender and lilac. This color brings warmth, creates comfort and real coziness.

In a nursery (for girls), it is best to use lavender, since this is Barbie doll's favorite color. In the dining room and living room, purple is much more suitable than lilac.

By the way, it’s useful to know that lilac goes very well with white (in large quantities), with yellow, orange and gold (but here, the main thing is not to overdo it, otherwise the room, quite simply, can easily turn into a clownery).

There was a time when lilac (and violet) was a completely unpopular color in America and was worn only by elderly ladies.

Anyone who rejects the color purple is prone to eroticism, afraid of losing his own self. These people are rational and know how to control their sensitivity.

“Lilac” is unique and cannot be influenced. He is an attractive and charming psychic. She surprises with her ability to quickly make all dreams come true. He is patient, playful, and accepts people as they are. His “goal” is to charm those around him. He often has his head in the clouds and loves to build “castles in the air.” In people, first of all, a lover of lilac appreciates kindness, tenderness and sincerity. If a person prefers dark lilac, then this indicates the need to manage his life.

Dark lilac color unites thinking and body. It is the color of inspiration, which is characteristic of creative people and healers.

The best professions for “purple” people are artists, actors, politicians, critics.

K. Kaestlin, a little-known author of the last century, writes in his “Aesthetics” (Tübingen, 1869) about the blue color: “The blue color is an extremely soft and illuminating contrast in comparison with everything restless, harsh, gloomy and offensive; a manifestation of the peaceful and meek and joyfully fresh; this is tenderness itself in clear contradiction with everything materially massive and heavy.” Kandinsky defined blue as a concentric movement.

Look carefully at the blue canvas one day and determine what mood it evokes in you.

You will feel a state of motionless peace, relaxed satisfaction, an endless sense of harmony and peace descending on you.

If your desires are satisfied on all sides, if what you have is enough for you in all respects, then you will feel complete “pleasure,” contented joy, which grows from self-restraint. Self-satisfaction is the philosophy of life according to which Diogenes lived.

Then it becomes clear why Diogenes said to Alexander the Great: “If I were not Diogenes, I would like to be Alexander.” If Diogenes had not found satisfaction in self-restraint (blue), he would have had to strive, like Alexander, in the feverish blindness of conquest, for self-affirmation, for strength and for impressive greatness (red). On the contrary, surrounded by blue, which expresses self-restraint, contentment and agreement, you feel in a harmonious and relaxed state. You feel like you belong to a certain community and are protected. Therefore, the color blue corresponds to the interconnectedness around you: belonging to unity; folk wisdom also reads: "The color blue means loyalty."

In a state of receptive interconnectedness, you are especially aware of differences. Therefore, blue color corresponds to all types of receptivity.

Blue, as a relaxed receptivity, is a prerequisite for penetration, for aesthetic experience and calm reflection.

Schelling resorts in his “Philosophy of Art” to solid symbols of blue when he says: “Silence is a unique state of beauty, like the calm of an untroubled sea.” The blue color corresponds symbolically to the feminine principle, the horizontal direction, the left side, and the phlegmatic temperament.

In German, for the mood that is caused by the color blue, there is an almost untranslatable concept in other languages: “temper, soul.” Blue is the ideal of unity and harmony. This is primordial maternal affection, loyalty and trust, love and dedication (hence the blue cloak of the Mother of God). Blue is the symbolic color of eternity and harmony in social development: the color of tradition. Novalis, in his novel Heinrich von Ofterdinger, expressed the romantic position in the symbol of the blue flower:

“He was in a state of sweet half-sleep, in which he dreamed of the most incredible events. He saw himself on a soft carpet of grass at the edge of a spring. Blue rocks with multi-colored veins rose in the distance. The daylight that surrounded him was lighter and softer than usual. The sky was dark blue and completely clear. What attracted him with all his might was a tall, light blue flower, which first grew near the source and touched it with its wide shiny petals. He saw nothing more than the blue flower, and looked at him for a long time with unspeakable tenderness."

The German psychiatrist F. Steffler studied “Hölderlin’s Ether and Mental Harmony” (Arztliche Praxis, No. 6, 1976):

“At the same time, it can be easily established that Hölderlin, especially in his novel Hyperion, gives the ether the definition of blue, i.e. that he connects the celestial blueness with the concept of ether. The repeated mention of the blue tone prompts us to seek advice from modern psychology color shades. Psychologist Max Luscher calls blue the color of harmony and identity. The mention of the concept of harmony makes us wary if we remember that throughout Hölderlin’s work, precisely as a leitmotif, runs the desire to establish harmony between myself and the world. It is striking that Hölderlin's blue ether is called precisely at those moments when a person identifies himself in a harmonious way with his environment. In Hyperion, the young hero, intensely perceiving nature, thus becomes one with the world: “Lost in the distant blue, I often look up into the ether and into the divine world, and it seems to me as if a kindred spirit is opening its arms towards me, that the pain of loneliness dissolves in the existence of the deity. To be one with everything, this is life for the deity, this is heaven for people. To be one with all that lives, to return in blissful self-forgetfulness to the infinity of nature, this is the pinnacle of thought and joy, this is the sacred mountain peak , a place of eternal peace."

Green Meaning

If I ask you: “What does the color green mean?”, the phrase that immediately comes to mind is: “Green is hope.” Green can indeed also mean hope, but only in that special shade found in young foliage and buds in the spring. Only yellow-green, as expected self-disclosure, corresponds to hope.

In relation to yellow-green, blue-green is in complete contradiction. And in relation to blue-green, brown-green causes opposite sensations and feelings.

When I talk about green as a symbol, I mean exclusively and only the green color of the spruce, which rather appears darkish and bluish.

The protruding, highly irritating movement of yellow and the oppositely directed, calming, retreating movement of blue dissolve in green and are preserved in it. Therefore, green color is static. Green has no external influence kinetic energy, but only accumulated potential energy. This accumulated energy, however, does not rest in the proper sense of the word, but is realized in itself as a structure of tension and is externally static.

Although Kandinsky writes: “Passivity is the most characteristic property absolutely green,” however, he obviously confuses here, like some others, static with passive.

The more blue is added to green, the more hard, “cold,” intense, durable, and resistant the psychological impact of the color becomes.

Just as molecules in a solid body create tense structures that are not visible from the outside, so in every person they form tense structures directed towards themselves, autonomously-concentric feelings. This is a person’s attitude towards himself, which he experiences as “I” in the narrow sense of the word.

Green as a spruce contributes to the emergence of precisely the state that we have defined as a concentric and self-determining (autonomous) attitude. Every morning when I wake up, I recognize that it is me, with all my memories and intentions, who is becoming aware of myself again.

But now we will put aside the logical scalpel and say simply: green corresponds to stability, strength, constancy, perseverance, willpower, and as for the sense of self-perception, a sense of self-worth. Green like spruce corresponds to a real, stable sense of self-esteem, the self-respect of a person who resists all internal and external changes and adheres to his beliefs.

The unbending, durable green color corresponds to the motto of a noble man: “Position obliges.” Goethe speaks about this in his poem:

Slow down in action

Wait for alms

Whine like a woman

In the timidity of a slave,

So forever

Don't throw off the shackles

Live in spite of them -

To the powers and the elements,

Don't grovel

Connect with the gods

It means to be free

Forever and ever.

Meaning of yellow

The fourth primary color is yellow. This is the lightest and brightest color. It is closest to light, white light.

In nature, the sun is rarely yellow. We see it as a blinding light in the sky or as glowing orange on the horizon. However, the idea of yellow is involuntarily associated with the sun, as children draw it. Everything that falls sunlight, is brightly illuminated and acquires a yellowish sheen as a result of the light reflex. The color yellow is perceived like the sun: bright and luminous. Yellow has a light, radiant, stimulating and therefore warming effect.

After white, yellow is the color that most strongly reflects the light falling on it. It seems as if light is sliding across a light surface. Superficiality is characteristic of yellow in many ways. The brightness of the yellow color and the polished, shiny surface complement each other in the splendor of brilliant gold. It seems that yellow, as a surface color, does not conceal any secret, and neither Goethe nor Kandinsky tell us about the essence of yellow Furthermore what we perceive.

Goethe: “This color is closest to light. In its highest purity, it conveys the nature of light and has the property of being joyful, cheerful, pleasantly exciting. - It is known from experience that yellow gives the impression of warmth and comfort. - This warming effect is best felt when you look at nature through yellow glass, especially on a gray winter day. The eye rejoices, the heart is filled, the mood improves, it seems that an immediate warmth envelops you." Kandinsky also points out that “yellow gravitates to light (white) to such an extent that there cannot be a very dark yellow at all. Looking at the yellow circle, you can notice that yellow emits rays, that movement emanates from the center and almost visibly approaches to the person." He experiences "the first movement of yellow, the desire for a person, which can increase to insistence (with increasing intensity of yellow), and also the second movement of yellow, the jump over the border, the dissipation of force into the environment ... and aimless radiation in all directions."

Green is concentrated tension and inertia; yellow, on the contrary, is discentred dissolution and change. If we compare green with accumulated, static, potential energy, then yellow corresponds to dynamic, kinetic energy.

Yellow is the main color. It corresponds to the basic need to develop freely. Yellow is preferred by people who are looking for a changed, liberating relationship, and, driven by wanderlust, go on long journeys. Yellow color is also often preferred by those who are fascinated by flight, by those who willingly get off the ground.

Yellow - as dissolution, as change, as liberation, as spatial space - is the opposite of green, which expresses tension, inertia, strengthening and spatial limitation.

Since yellow evokes a feeling of spaciousness, change and development, liberation and relief, it is also considered the color of insight and liberation. In accordance with this, the halo of Christ the Savior is yellow. Also, Buddhist monks wear orange and yellow robes. However, no matter what color Hans’s camisole was when he was happy, he could always be classified as the cheerful, carefree yellow type.

As in Goethe's "Pet of the Muses":

Meadows, thicket of forests

I'm coming, dashing rake,

I sing in broad daylight.

And the song sparkles in harmony,

Spinning and flashing

The earth is around me.
