The wilderness survival course is designed for tourists, climbers, hunters and all those who at least sometimes get out of cities. When going out on a serious route or simply going into the forest to pick mushrooms, we are faced with numerous objective (natural) and subjective (depending on us) dangers. This course will allow you to systematize old and acquire new knowledge and skills necessary to successfully overcome various extreme situations in wild conditions and not only. A little about the latest course. Video about the practical part of the winter course. about the course (February 2016) in the newspaper “Moscow Region Today”.

Winter course dates: new dates will be published soon!

More details about the course:

The course consists of two parts - theoretical lecture in Moscow, after which all participants will be given homework, and a two-day practical training session on the ground in the Moscow region.

Theory:

Some topics that will be covered in the lecture:
general concept about survival
- psychological aspect of survival
— main risk factors
- practical basics of survival (unchanged for any latitude)
– basic survival techniques (fire, water, shelter, food)
— orientation on the terrain using a compass, map and nothing else.
— NAZ, first aid kits

Practice:

The practical part of the course will take place on February 23-24, 2019 (Saturday-Sunday). The time and place of meeting of the participants will be announced at the lecture (tentatively on Saturday morning at one of the Moscow railway stations).

The course is taught BasilDolzhansky— First aid instructor of the Russian Red Cross, instructor of tactical medicine.

Practical plan:

The group meets on the morning of February 23 in Moscow at one of the railway stations (the time and place of the meeting will be announced at the lecture). Participants in their own cars, if desired, will be able to get to the location of the classes themselves (coordinates will be given out at the lecture).

Day 1: On the first day we will work on topics such as the correct behavior algorithm in an extreme situation in the wild, the correct choice of an ax, knife and safe work with them, getting fire in several ways, types of fires, building temporary shelters, organizing an overnight stay in the wild in cold weather of the year. The main goal of the classes is to obtain the most important basic skills necessary for survival in natural environment- and by the end of the day you will have them. The conditions for completing the tasks are completely realistic and as close as possible to an extreme situation: you will not have a lighter or lighter fluid, a chainsaw, a coil of rope, a tent or a warm sleeping bag. You will learn to get all this from nature only with the help of your own hands and a minimum of equipment. Attention: not far from the place of training we set up a campsite - we put up an awning, make a fire, prepare camp food, set up tents. At any moment, tired of “survival,” you can go there, relax and have a snack. In the evening we gather around a large campfire, tell all sorts of stories, life stories and discuss equipment. You can spend the night in self-built shelters (optional) or in a tent.

“Support Lagman” - supported the strength of cadets in previous classes

Day 2: We will devote the second day to such a broad topic as terrain orientation. Conditions will also be as close as possible to real life(and not to orienteering, for example). You will learn to use topographic map and a compass, you will learn what magnetic declination and true azimuth are, learn to take an azimuth and follow it, link a map to the area, follow the map to given point and much more. After lunch we will focus on another huge and important topic - first aid. It is impossible to fully cover such a vast topic in a couple of hours, but you will get a good idea. We will pay special attention to first aid in wild conditions far from civilization, as well as to completing a camp first aid kit. Approximate time of return to Moscow on Sunday: 20:00

List of required equipment:

- comfortable and warm clothes according to the weather
- comfortable and warm shoes
— 2 pairs of woolen socks, “working” or fleece gloves, a hat

About the name of the course. You will be surprised, but we don't like it. But if you call the course something else, for example, “a course of basic skills in the natural environment,” then no one will understand what we are talking about. What other basic skills? In what environment? But with the “survival course” everything is immediately clear - images of brave heroes of the novels of Jack London and Fenimore Cooper immediately appear before your eyes, capable of single-handedly withstanding the elements, knowing the forest and the habits of wild animals, capable of living for a long time in wildlife with almost one knife. Or at least the famous TV presenter Bear Grylls, who successfully “survived” at all points globe and filmed many episodes of his program about it. But, unfortunately, what most often comes to mind for a modern site visitor is not the brave Natty Bumppo or Smoke Bellew, but the “survivalists” from social networks, endlessly preparing for an alien invasion, nuclear winter, zombie apocalypse and who knows what else. Usually all preparation is limited to the same social networks and heated debates “which ax/knife/backpack/compass/stew/naz/shovel is better, etc. There was even a separate term - “couch survivalists” - and these are the majority. Now, thanks to them, many people, when they hear anything about the topic of survival in the wild, smile and turn away.

The title “Basic Skills Course in the Natural Environment” definitely resonates with us. We do not deal with abstract topics in the course, such as “how to build a bunker in case nuclear war at your dacha” or “how to spend the night on a tree in late autumn in only shorts and with a plastic bag” - YouTube and “survivalists” on social media will tell you about this in detail. networks. Instead, we pay attention to the most prosaic things: what to do if you get lost in the forest with a mushroom basket and a table knife? Left behind your friends on a hike? How to work with your fear and panic, how to make a fire, how to arrange a temporary home in order to maintain strength and live relatively comfortably until a way out of this emergency situation is found, how to provide yourself with potable water, how to deal with food, helping yourself and other necessary first aid, what to do with a compass and map, how to navigate the terrain? These situations, of course, are not as urgent as the same zombie apocalypse or alien attack, but they can also happen. And with everyone. In general, by and large, this is the set of skills and knowledge that any person should have. We are too distant from nature and too arrogant in our confidence in the guarantee of benefits modern civilization anywhere at any time. Although life constantly shows us that this is far from the case. Anyone who understands this comes to us.

    Fellow instructors, Vasily! Thanks a lot thank you all for the survival course and first aid! I’ve been working on field scientific expeditions for ten years, I’ve been hiking since childhood, but I’ve never before had to spend the night in winter without a tent and make a fire without matches, and this can always come in handy! Of course, our hands are then calloused from the flint and our hands ache a little from the saw, our feet are cold, but the main thing is that we secured a warm overnight stay with your sensitive guidance and generally had a great rest from the city. Vasily teaches the material in an engaging and clear manner. The instructors were always ready to help and repeatedly checked whether we had frozen at night and whether we had built the shelter correctly. Special thanks to Philip, Sasha and Oleg for the delicious and varied food, for the nightly mulled wine and Maslenitsa! And of course winter forest beautiful, snow caps falling by the collar and orienteering waist-deep in snow is wonderful. And separately about first aid - we received a very non-standard set of in-depth skills applicable specifically in field conditions, for which I thank Vasily very much. This course is a must for all tourists and field workers!

    I join in the words of gratitude. An excellent, very useful course for everyone, and not only tourists, but also ordinary city residents. Excellent organization, friendly environment. Well done organizers! Special thanks to the course leader V. Dolzhansky, he is simply a survival guru, an excellent teacher. Despite all the difficulties, I rested my soul and body, gained new knowledge and skills, communicated with very interesting and smart people. I also spotted some useful things that I can now show to the guys when I take the group on a hike. Very pleasant memories of my team, we managed to arrange our shelter and fire very smoothly, it was great. Thanks cityescape!

    Thank you very much to CityEscape for this course! I recommend everyone to visit! I learned a lot of useful things every hiker needs and acquired useful skills. Not everything worked out right away, but it still worked out, and the principle of operation is clear, I will practice, for example, starting a fire without matches on other trips. I also liked the fact that before attending the lecture, you were asked to fill out a form in which you could write what you expect from this course, so that already at the course itself the organizers could take into account your wishes and answer your questions. We were lucky with the weather; it would be interesting to survive in more severe conditions, for example, in winter. If such a course is offered in winter, I will definitely take it! And I recommend it to everyone!!! Thanks again!!!

    I’ll just write... definitely for a visit. many of us never go on hikes. but many go with travel agencies, and many even go on their own, for the most part with a tent, matches and everything necessary. and everyone has a lot of theoretical information in their head, what to do if suddenly if... and this is where the bummer comes - it turns out that what seems to be known in theory and was read/heard somewhere does not really fit in with practice... because there are mistakes they pour out where you wouldn’t expect them at all. For seasoned survivalists with a lot of experience, it’s clear that it won’t be interesting (but even just talking with the club’s leaders and survival instructors will be extremely pleasant and interesting for you!), but for all those who have at least once thought while on a hike, “what if ?...” and especially for those who are generally thinking about the hiking path of life - a must-visit! you will not regret!!! and many thanks to CityEscape for giving me the opportunity to gain such skills!

    Good everyone!
    To those with whom we were on a course in the Domodedovo forests on April 8-9, 2017, and who became so close in spirit during these 2 days - and to everyone reading these lines now and still doubting whether to try it yourself.. Don’t doubt it! It's really worth it!!!
    In the report on the event, the organizers wrote that this is, rather, not a “Survival Course” - it is a “Basic Wilderness Skills Course” - and Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with this.
    Many of us - from the Internet, from TV shows, books, stories from “experienced” people - know, in principle, quite a lot of “theoretical” information - what to do if a “walk” in nature goes “wrong”.
    But here's the practice...
    Yes, everyone knows that you can make a fire using flint. -Have you tried to do this??
    You can make a shelter from bad weather from trees and spruce branches. -Do you know how to tie it and secure it so that it doesn’t blow away from the first good gust of wind?
    Build a fire that gives off heat for a long time? Exit using the card? Help yourself or someone else when injured? - I could go on for a long time...
    What if this is all for the first time and stress and fear paralyze you, and the time until you figure out what to grab onto is your worst enemy??
    For me, this course turned out to be valuable not only for practice, specific techniques, “how and what” techniques.. But, the most important thing is that all this is possible! Perhaps for an ordinary, urban person accustomed to comfort. -Psychological aspect!
    And in this regard, the organizers - Alexandra, Philip - huge RESPECT! and Vasily (he’s just a treasure trove of information) are real GOOD GUYS!! Now I'm with you!)
    It’s a pity that it passed so quickly - for me it became a “seed”)
    P.S. The whole next day after the course at work went down the drain)) I sat and went over in my head everything that I heard, felt, did in these two days.. - How much was included in them! A whole little life!..
    Good luck everyone!
    The sun is ahead and clear skies above!)

    Last week I took a wilderness survival course. I would like to say a huge thank you to the club for a professionally organized event, from which I personally (and, judging by the reaction, all the other participants) received great pleasure. In a three-hour theoretical lesson and a two-day workshop, you get as much knowledge and skills as you won’t get anywhere else. This includes starting a fire without matches or a lighter, and building a shelter with the right “hearth”, and learning to navigate the area, as well as invaluable practice in providing first aid. medical care, and much more. The course instructor, Vasily, is simply a storehouse of information on survival and willingly shares it, and also helps experienced participants to “survive” according to an individual program. It is difficult to list everything that I learned and learned from the course, but one thing I can say for sure: this course is needed not only by tourists, but also by everyone else who understands that they are not immune from an unforeseen situation. And since there is no room for error in such a situation, now I will be much more seriously prepared for it and will no longer rely on chance when going on a trip or even being in my usual home environment.

    Yes, and a nice bonus of the course is pleasant company positive people, beautiful nature and delicious camp food, which, however, will not make you gain weight. 🙂

    I’m incredibly glad that I was able to take this course - it provides a lot of practical and useful skills, but a lot also depends on how much you want to take. I tried to learn and find out the maximum, thanks to Vasily for helping me in this desire and showing me a lot, and most importantly, motivating me to finish it until it works, which helped me believe in myself and my strengths! It’s incredibly cool to know that now I can make a fire with or without a flint, make a water filter, assemble a bow saw, build a shelter, spend the night in it, and much, much more! I learned so much in two days, the weekend was not in vain! And great company only improved my mood)

    It was a great weekend! The first night in my life without a tent and my first night in my life. I tried my hand at navigating on a map, remembered how to make a fire without matches and many, many other useful skills. Vasily, thanks for the science! Sasha, Philip - excellent organization and very tasty food! It looks like my next trip with you will be culinary? And of course, great company - thank you guys for the pleasant communication! City Escape - you guys are great!

    This course gave me the opportunity to overcome the helplessness associated with the habit of comfort) to overcome the fear of a simple and at the same time previously impossible task - not to get confused, to help myself (at least myself). Many thanks to Philip and Sasha for the quality organization and Tasty food, Vasily - for the rich and very practical training. For the skills that call me to move on because I want to and I’m not afraid. And to our entire team for such a cool experience. :)

    The knowledge and skills gained during the course are priceless. You can endlessly “smoke the Internet” and watch videos of “survivalists”, but until you build a shelter with your own hands and start a fire, you will not learn anything. The most important knowledge after the course is a practical algorithm of actions. Many thanks to the organizers - Alexandra and Philip, and the course leader Vasily for the informative and well-organized course. As a bonus, all participants received a very tasty lunch prepared in the field. Thank you.

    Before you get ready for a long hike, you need to know such skills as making a fire without matches or lighters, building a temporary shelter and any basic survival skills in the wild several hundred kilometers from the nearest settlement. After all, no one is insured and does not know what could happen to them at such a moment.
    This is what I did, deciding that I needed to know these skills before moving forward for a long time, which I don’t regret at all, everything was at the highest level.
    I learned a lot of new things and most importantly I learned this.
    The organizers are great, I want to express my deep gratitude to Vasily, Philip and Alexandra.

    I would like to leave a review about the Wilderness Survival Course on December 10, 2016.
    I’ve been wanting to take some survival courses for a very long time, but the fact that I decided to do it at City escape turned out to be largely by accident. However, during the event I realized how good it was that it turned out that way! In addition to the fact that the course itself was extremely educational, useful and aimed at acquiring critical skills and experience, it was very well prepared and organized, which significantly increased the quality of learning and the enjoyment of the process! Everything we needed was prepared and delivered to the place, and while we were training, an incomparable lagman was prepared for us; a very warm atmosphere reigned all the time! It was a wonderful combination of teaching the skills needed in extreme situations, And comfortable rest Outdoors!
    Many thanks to Philip, Alexandra, Vasily and all the course participants!!!

    Thanks to the organizers for the course! A lot of new and interesting things, and most importantly, everything with practical training. Lots of real-life stories from the instructor. The level of tin is according to your desires and capabilities.
    The course opened my eyes to many aspects (especially the idea of making fire changed).
    There is a desire to repeat it somehow, slightly increasing the level of difficulty.

    Many thanks to the Cityescape team! In addition to the wonderful two days spent with like-minded people, I gained useful knowledge and acquired some skills when acting in an emergency. I hope I never need them))). Everything went just wonderful!!! Everyone survived))) I’m already getting ready for the next hike.

    I really liked the survival course - interesting, capacious, informative! The theoretical foundations of survival were well described in the lecture; in the practical part, we gained not only knowledge, but also valuable skills - we built a hut-shelter (even without using a rope), learned how to light and maintain a fire, completed an orienteering quest with a compass and map, In practice, we have mastered the skills of providing “first aid” to the victim and much more! Thanks to instructor Vasily for his professionalism, we received answers to all our questions and a lot of new information useful information, thanks to Philip and Alexandra for the excellent organization of the classes and the hike, for the delicious porridge and mulled wine! I advise everyone who sometimes gets out into nature to take this course!

    Very informative, useful and interesting course! I knew some of the theory before, remembered some, but most importantly, I learned a lot, and also tried it in practice. Thank you Vasily for sharing your knowledge with us. Sasha and Philip - for the excellent organization, delicious food and a pleasant bonus in the form of photographs.
    I recommend it to everyone who wants to spend an active, fun and useful weekend!!!

    It was my first time on such a course. This course was created not for extreme sports, but for reasonable people and the ideas were to avoid troubles, prepare well for a battle/flight/campaign, and also how to deal with panic if something goes wrong.
    The main rule of first aid to a victim is not to end up in the role of a second victim. The main rule of solo hiking is not to go solo hiking, or at least have someone who knows when to wait and where to look.
    Personally, in order to say that I have mastered it, I probably need a dozen weekly practices with increasing complexity in different seasons and environments.
    In these courses, everyone tried (and succeeded) in striking sparks and starting a fire from a spark. On the first day, I mastered the technology of maintaining a fire: so that it would burn for a long time, without spitting sparks. I only got by with a chain saw. At night I was warmed by one thin dead pine tree and not quite rotten birch trees lying under my feet. I lit a fire without getting out of my summer sleeping bag. The next day, after tasting Philip’s signature porridge, I got acquainted with the overnight stays of other participants, the benefits of autumn leaves, garbage bags, practical use tablet compass - how to walk with it in a given direction. At the end there were courses of the first help - ways stopping blood and evacuating those injured and frozen.
    At the end of the course everyone received certificates and prizes :)

    Great event. Many important aspects regarding safety precautions and ways to live a short time in forest conditions without external support are very well told and shown in practice. I highly recommend this course to anyone who even occasionally goes on simple one-day hikes.

    It was not in vain that I went, although I knew a lot in theory, but without practice all this would be useless. Thanks to Vasily, he didn’t just answer, he also asked who didn’t know what or wanted to try and helped either with advice or told everything in detail. We were fed, the guys were given axes, everything went well and without alcohol. I am pleased, thanks to everyone involved in the success of this event! I recommend this course - it will be useful for beginners and theoreticians.

    A very useful event indeed! It seems that in theory you have heard a lot of things, you know a lot of things, but in practice you have never tried to do it yourself. So this is where you gain real experience. Thank you very much cityescape for this event!

    I really liked the survival course
    The theoretical part turned out to be extremely useful, I learned a lot of new things. The lecturer talks interestingly)
    The practical part was also great. We learned how to build shelters and how to cut down trees correctly and safely.
    Many thanks to the organizers for the delicious food, photographs and warm atmosphere and Vasily for so much useful knowledge)

    This was my first time attending such an event and I was very pleased with the organization and professionalism of the instructors. I believe that these events serve for a calm existence in an extreme situation. I will definitely attend such events in the future. Thanks to Vasily, Philip and Alexandra :)

Let's start with the fact that courses are provided even for women who came to serve in the armed forces through contact. The name “survival courses” is popular. To put it correctly, this is an intensive military training program. Being a civilian, it is impossible to master all the subtleties military service, and also prepare for their special rhythm of life. No books will help better than these courses. This intensive program includes mastery of self-control and discipline techniques, as well as overcoming fear.

In general, this is a special set of exercises that every contract soldier must undergo before starting service. Of course, everyone is interested in how long this preparation procedure lasts. These are short courses, their duration is 6 weeks. During this time, a person is completely immersed in military affairs, his consciousness and views change. In general, he is preparing to become a real military man.

It should be noted that survival courses began to be used in Russia relatively recently. Since 2012, they have been actively used to train contract soldiers. Following their introduction, controversy erupted over the claims that the courses were demeaning and illegal. As practice shows, they help a person rethink his choice and finally become convinced of its correctness. The advantages of the courses are:

  • the ability to quickly determine whether a citizen is fit for service;
  • preparing a person for his future business;
  • the opportunity to refuse service in case of difficulties.

The disadvantages are the following:

  • heavy loads;
  • the essence of the program is not related to any type of troops;
  • effectiveness depends on the conditions of the training unit.

Behind last years the number of those who changed their minds about becoming a contract soldier after completing the intensive program increased by 350 people.

On the one hand, this is good, since those who cannot serve are immediately eliminated. But still, some need more time than 6 weeks to adapt and get used to it. Therefore, the opinion about these courses is twofold.

The essence of the courses

Survival courses consist of:

  1. Intense physical activity.
  2. Fire, combat, chemical, medical, tactical and engineering training.

Mostly courses take place at training grounds. During the intensive program, all fighters:

  • eat dry rations;
  • master camouflage skills and methods of setting up field camps;
  • master the skills of action against the enemy;
  • undergo training in the tactics of conducting military operations;
  • learn to overcome various obstacles.

Towards the end of the course, all military personnel will face a forced march of 150 km. Special conditions are created that are as close as possible to real combat operations. At the very end of the program, everyone takes exams in physical and combat training. The course for women is somewhat different from that for men. Physical activity has been slightly modified and the standards have been lowered. But often many women over 30 years old suffer from increased blood pressure after a 5-kilometer forced march. In addition, women of fragile build face problems when carrying backpacks with uniforms.

In general terms, survival courses are aimed at making the young fighter aware that he will have to risk his life, take responsibility and make serious decisions quickly. Also, contract workers must understand that they will have to work not for a salary, but for the well-being of their homeland. Wages in this case only ensure a decent life for those who sacrifice them. If a fighter believes that contract service is an alternative regular work, but with a high salary, as well as the opportunity to “deviate” from urgent work, then he is mistaken, so he has nothing to do in the armed forces. This survival school is necessary for the citizen to finally decide on his choice. Before the introduction of these courses, the military often encountered soldiers who were either physically or mentally unable to perform their service, as a result of which they gave up the job, only wasting their time and energy.

Problems of survival courses for contract soldiers

Since this program was developed recently, it is not fully coordinated and has its own problems. In general there are two of them:

  1. Corruption. Today, bribery is found everywhere, be it a hospital, educational institution or army. Those who have sufficient funds often have better conditions and they are treated more loyally than others. Regarding the courses, if they are conducted by those who are not averse to taking a bribe, then, of course, the fighters may not take them, but will automatically be included in the list of contract soldiers. The state needs to fight such individuals and not allow some to try conscientiously, while others get everything just because they have a fat wallet.
  2. Equipment. Unfortunately, fighters have to purchase uniforms with their own money, which cost a lot of money. The state does not equip the units with all the necessary equipment, and what they have is old and practically out of order.

Otherwise, survival courses have a large number of pros. The main thing is not to be afraid to go through them. If you decide to become a military man, then you need to be prepared for difficulties, restrictions and difficult conditions.

What is the difference between regular service and contract service?

Contract service is military activity for a certain period of time by agreement. For such activities, citizens receive wages that are usually higher than those who are not contract workers. In order to become a military contractor, you must meet the following requirements:

  • have suitable age, that is, from 18 to 40 years old;
  • have average or higher education;
  • pass a special medical commission and be in categories “A” or “B”;
  • comply with the standards specified in the NFP.

The contractor must be resilient, decisive, efficient, strong and responsible. He must be ready to take orders and give them. In addition, it is important for a contractor to be prepared for the harshest survival conditions. First of all, he must think about the Motherland, and then about himself.

How to become a contractor

To enroll in this type of service, you need to come to the local contract service center for detailed advice on further service. Next, you need to go to the local commissariat with your passport, writing an application there for acceptance as a contract soldier. After this, the citizen will be examined by a medical commission, as well as a check of all documents. He is then sent to military unit for survival school. At the end of the course, a decision is made on whether the citizen is ready to become a contract soldier or not. If everything is in order, then he is sent to the main place where he will continue to serve.

Advantages and disadvantages of such a service

The advantages of contract service are:

  1. High wage(from 30 thousand rubles).
  2. Permanent business trips.
  3. Availability of a service apartment at the place of duty.
  4. A large number of benefits.
  5. Honor and respect among other professions.
  6. Free travel on public transport.
  7. Availability of clothes that can be worn even in civilian life.
  8. Retirement at 45.
  9. Vacation – 45 calendar days.

There are several disadvantages:

  • risk to life and health;
  • difficult conditions in which you sometimes have to be;
  • constant travel, due to which you rarely see your family;
  • unquestioning execution of orders;
  • great responsibility.

Survival courses

I signed a contract in February, took a survival course, can I transfer to another branch of the military and will I need to take the course again?

In order to transfer to another branch of the military, you need to obtain a relationship in the unit to which you want to transfer. In addition, you will also need to obtain permission from your unit commander. Survival courses will not be repeated. Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated September 16, 1999 N 1237 (as amended on February 21, 2019) “Issues of military service” (together with the “Regulations on the procedure for military service”) Article 15. The procedure for transfer to a new place of military service...

You can transfer at the discretion of the leadership - Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 16, 1999 N 1237 (as amended on February 21, 2019) “Issues of military service”

In accordance with paragraphs 1, 5 of Article 15 of the "Regulations on the procedure for military service", approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 16, 1999 No. 1237 "Issues of military service", a serviceman can be transferred to a new place of military service from one military unit to another (including located in another area) within the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (other troops, military formations or bodies, military units of the State Fire Service) in the following cases: on official need; in order of promotion; In your case, if all the above conditions are met, there is no need to take survival courses for health reasons in accordance with the conclusion of the military medical commission; for family reasons at personal request (for military personnel serving under contract); at personal request (for military personnel performing military service under a contract); in connection with organizational and staffing events; in connection with a planned replacement (for military personnel performing military service under a contract); in connection with enrollment in a military educational institution, postgraduate studies, military doctoral studies; in connection with expulsion from a military educational institution, postgraduate studies, military doctoral studies; if, taking into account the nature of the crime committed, the serviceman who has been sentenced to a restriction on military service cannot be retained in a position related to the management of subordinates. Thus, for a transfer it is necessary to have a vacant position, a request for transfer from the commander of the military unit where you plan to serve, a report on the transfer with a positive resolution from your commander of the military unit, since the right to choose in case of transfer at a personal request remains with the commander i.e. e. he can either refuse or agree. Specific deadlines for the transfer have not been established - it all depends on the personnel department and the time for consideration of the report and documents by officials. In your case, if all the above conditions are met, you do not need to take survival courses.

Hello Svetlana! According to the order of the Ministry of Defense "On measures to implement legal acts on the organization of military service under contract in the Armed Forces Russian Federation"In particular, paragraph 11 states that a serviceman has the right to propose his candidacy for appointment to a vacated or vacant military position for consideration by the relevant certification commission. At the same time, he submits a report to the commander (chief) of the military unit with a request to consider his candidacy for appointment to a military position. position. The serviceman's report is reviewed by the certification commission of the military unit, which prepares proposals to the commander (chief) of the military unit on the advisability of appointing the serviceman to a military position. A serviceman whose application is rejected is notified by the certification commission of the military unit about the decision taken in writing. In this case, you will need permission to transfer from your immediate commander (supervisor)

In accordance with paragraphs 1, 5 of Article 15 of the "Regulations on the procedure for military service", approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 16, 1999 No. 1237 "Issues of military service", a serviceman can be transferred to a new place of military service from one military unit to another (including located in another area) within the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (other troops, military formations or bodies, military units of the State Fire Service) in the following cases: on official need; in order of promotion; for health reasons in accordance with the conclusion of the military medical commission; for family reasons at personal request (for military personnel serving under contract); at personal request (for military personnel performing military service under a contract); in connection with organizational and staffing events; in connection with a planned replacement (for military personnel performing military service under a contract); in connection with enrollment in a military educational institution, postgraduate studies, military doctoral studies; in connection with expulsion from a military educational institution, postgraduate studies, military doctoral studies; if, taking into account the nature of the crime committed, the serviceman who has been sentenced to a restriction on military service cannot be retained in a position related to the management of subordinates.

I'm taking survival courses, can I go on leave? Local registration.

I'm taking survival courses, can I go on leave? As the commander (chief) orders, so must be done.

Dismissal issues are decided by your immediate commander (chief). So contact him.

If you received a certificate from a survival course with grades of 2, then K was sick for the last 8 days. Will they send me again?

Federal legislation does not regulate this issue. Refers to internal affairs the relevant department and is regulated by it.

Can they be fired from the Armed Forces for failing survival course exams? Is it possible to retake?

This is not directly regulated by legislation; everything depends on the internal acts of the department. But failure to comply (failure to pass) survival standards will be considered a violation of the terms of the contract.

Does he have the right to send a combat veteran to survival courses?

Good afternoon. Your question is not entirely clear. Who sends whom and within what framework?

She served in the army and took survival courses. Then she quit and didn’t serve for two years. Now I'm applying for a contract again. Can they send me to survival courses again?

Hello, they will send 100% If there was a gap between the contracts, then they will send.

I am serving for the third year under a contract, I am being sent to survival courses, can I refuse and what are the possible reasons for refusal?

Hello, your groundless refusal will most likely be regarded by the command of the military unit as a failure to fulfill the terms of the contract. Illness can be cited as a valid reason (if you are really sick during this period).

I signed a second contract, they sent me back to survival courses, my commanders told me to write a report for expulsion, and back to the unit where I serve, in the unit where I took the course, they told me to write a report due to my reluctance to serve in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces, they gave me an extract from the order, send to PPD to terminate the contract, can they fire me for this?

Hello. Of course not.

I’m a contract worker, I’ve been serving for 3 years, when I joined the service I was sent to survival courses, everything would have been fine if there hadn’t been 32 on the street, we lived in tents in the forest, we arrived not only with a cold, but simply simply sick with cystitis, and inflammation, etc. etc., after this serious problems began in gynecology with the diagnosis of chronic sulpengo-oophoritis already made. On this moment commanders are threatening to fire me under the military military order, BUT I acquired this disease in the army - here! How can I prove this, that before admission I was absolutely healthy and am I entitled to compensation for a disease acquired for life with unknown consequences...?
Thank you!

Hello. In this situation, you don’t have to worry, you will be referred to the military medical service and if the military military commission accepts that you are sick and naturally you also had medical training before entering the service and were healthy, then you got sick during the service, and you should be paid insurance and probably housing, you need more did but will talk.

I am entering into a second contract with the Russian Federation, will they send me to survival courses again?

If the contract requires this, then yes, if the contract does not, then no.

Is it necessary to take survival courses when concluding a contract without conscript service, if you have a military ID?

This is not regulated by law, it is just one of the forms military service, is regulated, accordingly, only by internal departmental documents and decisions of commanders.

I took a survival course, then went to maternity leave, has now left it. Do I need to take these courses again?

What kind of courses are these? What specialty? If you were there there should be documents confirming this.

How can you not go to survival courses without consequences.

Hello, Guest. To answer your question, you need to know what kind of courses these are and who sends you there.

In Russia, the principle of freedom of contract applies (Article 431 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation), therefore you cannot be forced to enroll in any courses, except in cases provided for by law. With respect, lawyer in Volgograd - Stepanov Vadim Igorevich.

Should I go to survival courses if I am a combat veteran, is there an article or where is this stated?

You have not indicated who or what obliges you to take these courses. Please check.

Can I be sent to survival courses if I am sick and have a certificate.

Hello, Nigina. Failure to attend the specified courses, in the presence of an appropriate medical certificate, will be considered survival for you.

Yes, I took survival courses, was discharged from the defense, then called up again, do I need to take these courses if I am a combat veteran?

Unknown. From the point of view of legislation, these are ordinary service moments for military personnel; they are not specifically covered by legislation; perhaps only something is spelled out in departmental acts.

I entered service under a contract a month and a half ago; I haven’t been sent to survival courses yet. In connection with the inspection in the unit from the district, I passed the final control test on all types of training along with everyone else, respectively overall rating 2, because there was no preparation. What could be the consequences? And should I have been involved in this audit at all?

And what, what is the problem, study and train further to become an excellent student in combat training.

I am doing military service and am about to sign a contract, do I need to take survival courses if I transfer to contract service?

Hello! If you manage to sign a contract before the expiration of the term of military service or on the same day, then you are not required to take survival or military training courses, but if the documents for you are drawn up later, then you will general principles going on a survival course.

I came from a survival course, the final grade was “2,” they called me to headquarters and asked if I wanted to continue serving, if “Yes,” then go at your own expense! If “no,” write a report that you are not ready to travel at your own expense and we will fire you! Can they fire me for what I have?
2 points for courses?

Directly for this - of course not. But, since failure to complete certain training would be considered a dereliction of duty, the contract may indeed be terminated on culpable grounds.

Will you be fired from your contract if you haven’t completed the survival course?!

Question: will you be fired from your contract if you haven’t completed the survival course?! Answer: they won’t fire you; this is not a significant breach of contract.

I am a combat veteran, can I be sent to survival courses?

Good afternoon Anton. The status of a combat veteran in itself is not a reason for you not to be sent to survival courses.

Are there days off after survival courses?

Good day. This point is established exclusively by the commander of the military unit. I wish you good luck in resolving your issue.

In 2015, my husband (a military man), while on a survival course, went to the hospital with a diagnosis of taberulo-interstitial nephritis (in other words, kidney failure). They didn’t apply for insurance that year because they wanted to serve, but now the contract is ending and the question of getting insurance has arisen. Can he apply for insurance compensation after three years? If so, what documents are required besides the IHC. Thank you.

Hello. May apply. Term limitation period- 3 years. Documents confirming the presence of the disease and service are provided. Naturally, identification documents. Other necessary or missing documents will be indicated by the insurance company. All the best to you and successful resolution of your problems.

Are they sent to survival courses with higher education?

Hello! Thanks to these courses, a candidate's suitability for service in the armed forces is tested and his strength is tested. Therefore, higher education has nothing to do with it at all.

I am an orchestra musician, 35 years old, female, sent to survival courses. I know that there is a telegram according to which the personnel of military bands are not sent, but it is from 2012. How to get away with it.

Hello dear visitor, there’s no way to get away with it, especially since it’s a military orchestra. But only if there is a good reason, such as illness. Good luck to you and all the best, with respect, lawyer Ligostaeva A.V.

My son is now on a survival course, there is a week left until the end of the course. He held on until the last, he caught a cold at the training ground and had a fever for several days, but he was not going to go to the infirmary and wanted to go to the end to receive a certificate of completion of the course. The situation turned out like this... The son simply shared with his husband about feeling unwell, and my husband shared this with his friend and that’s it. The acquaintance decided to try to help in some way and called some friend of his at this garrison. As a result, everyone was shouting at his son for complaining to his parents, but he didn’t understand why or for what, he was forcibly put in the infirmary and documents are being prepared for expulsion from the courses. My son is in shock, we also don’t know what to do... These courses are simply terrible, this is happening there... If they don’t dismiss you from the army and send you on conscript duty, they will force you to take the courses all over again... After graduating from university, he went under a contract for two years of service, instead of one on fixed-term service. Probation ended yesterday on April 9, but it seems he hasn’t signed the contract yet... Is it really not possible to lie in the infirmary for 2-3 days during a survival course and be immediately written off for it? Moreover, it turns out that they put it in without his desire. What should we expect now?

Hello! There are no grounds for expulsion from courses if you are sick, this is a valid reason and it is written on paper. If the charter does not provide for such rules in all their actions, apparently the lawlessness remains unfounded... All the best to you!

A familiar situation in the MILITARY camps of the early nineties. Apparently they haven’t told you yet what they feed them there. THIS IS LYRICS. Reality. The actions of the Head of the Courses are NOT LEGAL, it is necessary to prepare a complaint to the HEAD OF THE UNIT and it will be possible to recover a decent amount from them. The fact that the contract (agreement) is not signed is also in the order of things. Our entire RUSSIAN ARMY is famous for this. To us graduates military department MSTU "STANKIN", our second copies of contracts with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are still NOT GIVEN OUT. If you complain to the head of the unit, it won’t help, go HIGHER up to the MINISTRY OF DEFENSE. THIS IS LAWNESS PLUS MILITARY HAZING. I speak about this with knowledge of the matter, since I MYSELF WENT TO THE MEDSAMBAT AT A MILITARY TRAINING.

In May 2012, in funds mass media information has appeared that A new intensive training program for military personnel is being introduced in the Russian armed forces who serve in ground forces Oh. This program is popularly called “ survival courses ”, since it includes sets of special exercises aimed at overcoming fear, as well as mastering methods of self-control and self-regulation.

The program lasts six weeks. It was approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, Colonel General Alexander Postnikov, who is confident that it will help add a certain element of reasonable risk and surprise to the military training process.

According to Colonel Sergei Vlasov, the new course included the basics of survival, which include knowledge of how to survive in various climatic conditions, at different temperatures, the influence of high altitude on the human body, as well as methods of self-control and self-regulation.

Less than six months later, loud controversy broke out in the press and on the Internet regarding the appropriateness of introducing a new training program. Many are sure that such “survival courses” are humiliating and illegal, many call them absurd, and some do not believe that such a thing actually exists. But first things first.

First of all, it should be noted that, starting in May of this year, intensive training has become mandatory for all contract soldiers, both those who have just come to serve and those who have been undergoing it for quite some time. Moreover, this course is also mandatory for technicians and even female military personnel. If a soldier refuses to take the course or fails the course, this may be sufficient grounds for his dismissal from the armed forces due to failure to meet the requirements for professional military personnel.

In fact, this is exactly what happens. Since the introduction of the program, more than a thousand contract soldiers have not completed survival courses, or have refused to take them. Now this figure has increased by another 350 people. In addition, approximately a thousand military personnel wrote reports refusing to take the course, and another number of military personnel simply did not pass the medical examination.

As for the program itself, this course combined arms training, which at first glance has very few points of contact with air force, forces air defense, naval units, communications units or technical specialists. However, and the intensity of the program and its loads are extremely high for everyone taking the course. Even though this to some extent depends on the conditions of the training unit on the basis of which it takes place.

The course includes, in addition to intensive physical training, fire, combat, medical, tactical, engineering, and chemical training. Most of The course takes place at the training grounds.

At the end of the course there is a large forced march of 150 km, the conditions of which are as close to combat conditions as possible.

During this time, the military personnel eat dry rations, master camouflage skills, methods of setting up field camps, the skills of operating against the enemy, undergo practical training in the tactics of conducting small military formations, and overcome artificial and natural obstacles.

After completing the course, everyone takes final exams in combat and physical training. As for the course for female military personnel, the course for them is slightly modified. So, for example, they must overcome a 3-kilometer forced march in 15 minutes. In addition, there is also psychological test- the so-called “running in with a tank” - you need to endure it, not be scared, let it pass, and then knock it out. In addition, women must also pass field first aid exams.

By and large, we can say that the new training program is nothing more than a course for a young fighter, only taken to a higher professional level, which consists exclusively of practical combat training.

Directly related to the course of survival is heavy physical activity, especially for women. After all, most of them are already well over 40, and after a 5-kilometer forced march they may suffer from high blood pressure. In addition, if a woman is of a fragile build, then lifting a backpack with all the necessary components (armored helmet, sapper shovel, gas mask) will not be an easy task.

Among the military personnel themselves, there are also different opinions about whether this survival course is needed by everyone, or whether it should be limited to exclusively combat units.

Some (in particular, the Marines) argue that this program is not a survival course at all - but rather a course for a young soldier who has nothing to do with the basics of survival in extreme situations. According to others, this is clean water It is absurd to force pilots or sailors to climb under tanks or overcome enormous distances in forced marches. After all, for that matter, the ground forces will not be able, if necessary, to prepare an airplane for takeoff or a ship for departure.

Therefore, it is either necessary to introduce an additional course for the ground forces to master these skills, or cancel the existing survival course for the air force and naval forces. Everyone should do what they are trained to do.

But, if you delve deeper into the essence of the problem, then there cannot be non-combat formations in the armed forces, because in real combat conditions the situation may develop in such a way that you will have to fight off the enemy while lying in a trench with a machine gun, and not sitting at the controls of an airplane or with a wrench at the ready. And then neither the state of health, nor the type of military service, nor age will matter much.

In addition, any branch of the military requires its fighters to have certain physical and combat training, so the “survival course” will only help improve their level.

It must also be said that the new program makes it possible to staff the army with highly professional specialists. It identifies those who came to the service only for the sake of good material benefits and do not understand why crawl in the mud and study military affairs, if they can sit somewhere at a communications center or at the headquarters of a unit.

However, do not think that this program is ideal.. There are also certain problems here, thinking about solving them is much more important than discussing the feasibility of it in general. If the course already exists, then it is better to think about how to increase its effectiveness.

First of all, it is necessary to combat such a negative, but, unfortunately, widespread phenomenon as paying for final exams. This is often practiced at the platoon level and in most cases is instigated by the soldiers themselves, frightened by the prospect of failing the course. But if they start hinting at “financial support” for the course, you should not agree meekly, because, as a rule, those who voluntarily wrote a report before starting it, or those who did not pass the medical commission, are eliminated. And in the case where the military would drop out during the course, there really is very little.

Another one serious problem- this is equipment, or more precisely, purchasing it at your own expense, which no one will compensate for later. But if you have to choose between what the state can offer and what you can buy yourself, then, undoubtedly, it is better to go with the second option. And hope that over time the situation will change for the better. Unlikely, of course, but still...

It is quite possible to assume that the tightening of requirements for contract military personnel is related to the law that was adopted at the beginning of 2012. According to him, a significant increase in the Russian army is planned soon. Depending on the position and length of service, an ordinary soldier contract service will receive about 25-35 thousand rubles, and in in some cases– and up to 42 thousand. In addition, it is also planned to increase compensation for rental housing.

Such conditions, according to the military leadership, will cause an increase in those willing to serve. Therefore, in addition to the appropriate age (19-30 years), the presence of a complete secondary education, the absence of physical and psychological contraindications, and positive results tests for professional aptitude, a survival course will become one of the factors in the selection of those who joined the army by vocation.

A mass ethnic brawl with a stabbing occurred at the 473rd district training center junior specialists(military unit 31612) in Elani, Sverdlovsk region, Russian Federation.

As the portal URA.RU reported, citing its sources in the Russian military department, the fight occurred between a group of 60 contract soldiers from Tuva and about 100 contract soldiers from the local Yelansky garrison of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation. The publication's source also reported that 14 people were stabbed: 13 contract soldiers and 1 officer, who had already been transported to a hospital in Yekaterinburg. All the wounded are from among the servicemen of the Elan garrison (video from the Dozhd TV channel).

Let us recall that in April 2014, OSINT expert of the international intelligence community InformNapalm Irakli Komaxidze, analyzing numerous photos“little green men” seizing military facilities in Crimea, noted their ethnicity as Tuvans (self-name: “T yva").

In his material“Tuva rules, or “Caucasian substitutes” in the Russian army”he emphasized that with the arrival of an ethnic Tuvan to the post of Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Kuzhuget-oglu(aka Shoigu Sergei Kuzhugetovich) the Tuvan community in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has supplanted even Caucasian community.

“The Russian army is traditionally famous for hazing, in which Caucasians - Chechens, Ingush, Dagestanis, Kabardians and Ossetians - have always played a significant role in the spread of rot against the Russian majority. Shoigureduced the recruitment of Caucasians into the Russian army and increased the number of conscripts and contract soldiers from Tyva, who seized the initiative from the Caucasians and now spread rot on the Russian majority even more,”- emphasized InformNapalm expert Irakli Komakhidze in 2014.

Judging by latest events, over the past 3 years, ethnic problems in the Russian army have not only not disappeared, but have also worsened, because the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation himself is a representative of the Tuvan people and contributes to the strengthening of the Tuvan community. Meanwhile, in Elansky The educational center the big one has already arrived working group senior officers of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation headed with Deputy Commander of the Central Military District, Lieutenant General Khasan Kaloev, to investigate the circumstances and causes of the group fight.
