I wanted to stage and show even more grandiose burlesque shows! It made me develop, not sit and pat myself on the back. KU: In an interview with the British Telegraph, you said that you don't understand why most women, once they become famous, tend to act in films. What about you? What roles appeal to you?
Dft: I meant that acting is, of course, good, and I act in films when I feel that the role really suits me. But this is not so important for me as compared to striptease and my burlesque productions. I’ll say more, I don’t pretend to be a movie star at all. I prefer to be famous in the field of striptease, just like my idols Rose Lee and Lily Saint-Cyr. But this is how I feel. Dft: Once I trusted my intuition and called a stylist to my house to help me complete my vintage collection. I remember she took a pair of lovely vintage ones and said, "They will look so cute with jeans!" I always try to do everything myself. In terms of makeup and hair. I don't really like working with stylists and makeup artists - I just don't want to depend on them. It seems to me that there is nothing difficult in learning to paint perfectly, studying your old pictures and seeing all your flaws. Now I am writing a book about beauty, where the main message is: you can achieve everything on your own, the main thing is to learn. I think it will be interesting for young girls who look at beauties from the red carpets, but have no idea how they get that way.
