When I was going to Riva Del Garda to rest, a few not familiar with each other, a person advised me to not miss the lake and located nearby village, Borgo, called the channel di, and Canale di Tenno. On the map from our hotel in Riva was only 8 km, so in one day we took a taxi and moved on the road.

1. Eight kilometers turned out to be eight kilometers from serpentine. Blue Garda remained far away, and a taxi turn around the turn climbed above the mountains.

2. We arrived! This is not a di channel, but a view of the neighboring village. The canal looks also - a handful of stone houses under tiled roofs.

3. And around - Mountains! How I dreamed of getting into the Alps, what are they beautiful, majestic, calm!

4. Behind the mountains - Lake Garda.

5. Balcony of one of the houses. Under the balcony, by the way, beds: I was able to see the cabbage.

6. Taxi landed us at the entrance to Borgo, the street silent along the shcherbaty and bent each other's homes. Inside Borgo (I will use this word instead of the "villages") no movement, there and pedestrians are hardly moving, all the time is uphill, by stones, by narrow passages. The first mention of Borgo refers to the beginning of the 13th century.

7. We will go to the Channel Decanion - wear the most strong shoes!

8. There is a feeling that Borgo is not a group of houses, but one large house whose parts are combined with fancy transitions.

10. On the streets - nor soul, but houses are inhabited.

11. It is about such places that the time has stopped here.

12. It turns out strange: Borgo looks a place for absolutely tourist thanks to a variety of decorations, signs, flags, but there are almost no people on his streets. There are some strange museums, it's not that bench with rusty artifacts and bothering carts, but there is no bar, no store where you can buy water, nor a restaurant, nothing.

16. It can be seen that in the house live. However, on the walls of the houses of the channel di, a lot of times I saw the signs "Sold".

17. Thanks to the absence of people on the streets of Borgo - a great place for a photo shoot. No one will interfere, only with the light should not be gone. I was very hard to shoot me very hard - half of the frame tone in the shadows, the second was illuminated because of the bright sun.

22. I have a new lens, Carl Zeiss 16-35 2.8 and this is just a bomb for such small spaces! Everything is placed in the frame at all! I still show a photo from Venice, made by him - the first few days could not simply release a new toy from the hands. Thank you for my husband who makes my desires before their appearance in my head!

23. We choose out!

Borgo (so in Italy called villages) Channel di is incredited to the list of the most beautiful medieval settlements in Italy.

Channel Decklessly - Ghost Village. Thousands of tourists attend this place every year to see their eyes the streets, houses, life of people living in the distant times of the Middle Ages. All - like then. Take at least ads on the walls signed by the king, who stacked that for the tail sliced \u200b\u200bat the horse threatens the fine size of six soles.

After the Second World War, residents of the village gradually left their homes and moved to the valley in search of work and happiness. Gradually, the village was empty, but durable stone houses stand today. The history and architecture of each house is unique. This village is an open-air museum of Italy, an architectural pearl with stone houses of medieval buildings. Yes, going to any of the Italian villages, stock comfortable sneakers. Heels (and all the more hairpins) will not bring rudely paved bridges.

Channel Decklessly - Favorite place of artists. It was they who in 1960 united their efforts and restored the village. Artists come here from all over the world to spend their vacation and get a new portion of inspiration. The condition of living in the artist's house (Casa Degli Artisti) is the donation of the painting to the village restoration fund.

There are no shops and restaurants in the Channel Channel, many at home are available for sale. The only entertainment facility is a pottery house - Vazoio, where you can buy original works of manual work of Italian artists, beautiful souvenirs.

By the way, the village received its name from the lake a little, the road to which takes a few minutes walk. Its turquoise waters are considered the most pure in Trentino. The lake feeds the melting waters of glaciers and mountain streams.

It happens that a small "babble" during the tourist trip to one of the attractions is remembered as one of the main "raisins" of rest. And the impressions of her will not be bright than from the whole journey as a whole.

Having visited Garda, do not forget about the one located quite nearby, no less interesting and, of course, is very beautiful. Just 10 kilometers from hijacked in the mountains not at all such a large, but surprisingly in the brightness of the paint lake, which is famous for the most pure water in the country of an unusual azure shade.

The road to the attractions is also a landmark.
The road to this Alpine lake passes through the mountain "serpentine", then along the mountain path. Nearby are local settlements - Borgo, each of which deserves it to capture it in photographs. Driving up to the lake, of course, you can and directly, but is it worth leaving part of the local flavor aside? In addition, the parking lot near the lake is paid.

Borgo Localita Teno is closely closer (5 minutes walk), and you can get to the village, both on a personal car, or taxis and local bus. In Localita Teno has cafes and hotels.

From Borgo Channel di Ten to get to the lake on foot in 20 minutes. Some time will have to spend in the village itself, - the originality and the opportunity to make unique photos simply will not let you leave it, not walking along the old streets. They are so narrow that the Borgo can only move on foot.

But this fact will not spoil the mood of the prudent tourist, which takes care of the comfortable shoes in advance. In the journey to the sore and for a walk through its surroundings, durable and comfortable shoes are a necessary attribute of a successful trip. Channel streets are diversely paved with a cobblestone, so it's not worth walking on them on heels.

Otherwise, the impression of a walk through an old settlement is only bright memories of the trip. The whole village resembles one big building, its buildings are interconnected by arches and transitions, there are many details worthy of being seen and photographed. In favor of a small photo session on the streets of the village, a number of facts say:

  • unique architecture;
  • on the streets rarely see local residents;
  • the combination of picturesque buildings with the views of the Alpine Mountains.

Lake Pennoe
