The exact cause of Vera Glagoleva’s death is unknown, only the celebrity’s husband, businessman Kirill Shubsky, lifted the veil of secrecy - the artist died after long struggle with cancer.

“MK” became aware of some details: Vera Vitalievna visited one of the clinics in Baden-Baden, and a few hours later she suddenly died. We also found out how the actress’s body will most likely be delivered to her homeland.

What happened and how the actress’s body will be delivered to her homeland

There are practically no clinics for oncology patients in the Baden-Baden district, and the nearest centers are in Freiburg and Munich. However, in forest area, in the suburbs of Baden-Baden, the Black Forest-Baar Clinic is located, operating at the University of Freiburg.

The institution specializes in treatment internal organs, cancer formations in the area abdominal cavity- also their specialization. It is possible that it was in this clinic that Glagoleva began treatment. IN Russian companies, acting as intermediaries in organizing treatment, told the MK correspondent that average cost diagnostics and primary treatment at the Black Forest-Baar Clinic varies from 6 to 50 thousand euros, depending on the stage of the disease.

The artist's relatives this moment are in Germany and are preparing all necessary documents to transport the body to Russia. According to Kirill Shubsky, his wife’s body will be transported on Thursday or Friday.

The issue of logistics always turns out to be the most difficult and time-consuming, and especially if the person died abroad. “MK” talked to the staff of funeral agencies to find out what difficulties the actress’s relatives will have to face.

“Even to transport a body from Russia, you must have in your hands a large number of documents before sending the body across the border. In such a bureaucratic country as Germany - and even more so, says an employee of one of the Moscow funeral homes. “First of all, it will be necessary to conduct an autopsy so that doctors can confirm death due to the disease. This document will need to be signed by law enforcement agencies“that they have no questions about the death of a citizen, even from another country.”

After this procedure it is decided main question- how to transport? In the case of Germany, there are two options - an airplane or a car. The funeral agency noted that in 90 percent of cases, relatives choose the second option. This is primarily due to the serious difference in price. On average in Moscow, they charge from 2,500 to 4,000 thousand euros for just one transportation from Germany.

Transferring a body by plane is much more expensive - from 6,000 euros. In addition, to this we must add the employee’s services, as well as his travel allowances and flight tickets. The difference between the two methods is one - time. By car, transporting the body will take about three days, and by air no more than three hours, but there is practically no significant difference in the transportation itself.

“In both cases, the body of the deceased is placed in a special zinc container called a Euro-module. For additional safety of the body, it is not only treated with formaldehyde, but also covered on all sides with special formaldehyde pads. Such security measures guarantee the safety of the body for several days,” said the interlocutor at the funeral home.

How Vera Glagoleva hid a terrible illness

The death of Vera Glagoleva was a merciless blow not only for the family and friends of the actress, but also for fans. The Russian cinema star hid her cancer for a long time.

In the early spring of 2017, the media sounded the alarm: Vera Glagoleva was terminally ill. They wrote about emergency hospitalization, intensive care, and regular blood transfusions, but the star remained silent, and her relatives categorically denied the presence of health problems.

In one of the interviews, the actress spoke very harshly about the fact that these rumors are based on the media’s desire to increase ratings. “The fact that I make films, for some reason, today no one cared. Just grab some fictitious sensation! Disgusting! – Glagoleva was indignant.

Vera Vitalievna did not deny that she went to the clinic, but only in order to gain strength after filming, which sometimes lasted 14 hours:

“I was filming in the city of Aleksin, Tula region, and on my day off I came to Moscow for one day to get IVs to restore my strength. We were making a movie Feature Film. It was supposed to be completed in two weeks. The main thing is that they report: “She was in intensive care, and the doctors sent her home.” I immediately went to filming, on the 4th I was already on set, where I worked for 1.5 weeks! Well, what is this? – the Komsomolskaya Pravda website quotes the artist.

It was impossible not to believe these arguments. In addition, a month ago, at the wedding of her daughter Anastasia Shubskaya, the 61-year-old star had fun along with the young people. The second day of the festival was celebrated in one of the Moscow restaurants, the toastmaster was showman Vyacheslav Manucharov. The guests danced until they dropped. Vera Glagoleva started dancing along with the soloists of “Ivanushki” Kirill Andreev and Kirill Turichenko.

Video fiery dances with the caption “New soloist” Manucharov posted on Instagram. Numerous fans the actor was approved of the movements of Alexander Ovechkin’s mother-in-law: “The soloist is fire!”, “Wonderful actress, I really like it!”, “Vera is super!”

Even her colleagues had no idea about her diagnosis. “Nobody knew about the disease, because out of tact she did not want to burden anyone with her problems. Unfortunately, such serious illnesses take away from us the most dear people. Of course, this is a loss for Russian cinema. Alla and I were at all of her last film premieres, when she was already acting as a director,” TV presenter Maxim Galkin told RT reporters.

Let us remind you that Russian actress Vera Glagoleva died in Germany at the age of 62. Moskovsky Komsomolets reported this on August 16, citing a source close to her family. According to the insider, the cause of the artist’s death was cancer.

Life

Vera Glagoleva was born on January 31, 1956 in Moscow into a family of teachers. From 1962 to 1966, Vera Glagoleva lived in the GDR, where her parents worked as teachers in a Russian school.

In her youth, Vera practiced archery, became a master of sports, competed for the Moscow youth team and did not think about becoming an actress.

Movie

Glagoleva acted in films for the first time immediately after graduating from school, in 1974. Then she played in the film “To the End of the World...”. Vera agreed to play along with the actor who was auditioning for the role of Volodya, quickly learned the text and behaved very naturally. As a result, she was invited to main role.

Soon Vera Glagoleva married Nakhapetov and starred in several more of his films: “Enemies”, “Don’t Shoot White Swans”, “About You”.

In 1977, Glagoleva received an invitation to play the role of Varya in the film “On Thursday and Never Again” directed by Anatoly Efros. The actress’s performance impressed Efros so much that he invited Glagoleva to his theater on Malaya Bronnaya. However, she refused his proposal.

The actress also starred in the films “Starfall” by Igor Talankin, “Torpedo Bombers” by Semyon Aranovich, “Forgive Us, First Love” by Mikhail Yakzhen, “Sincerely Yours” by Alla Surikova, “These Three True Cards” by Alexander Orlov and others.

For the main role in the film “Marry the Captain” Vitaly Melnikova Glagoleva received the title “ Best Actress 1986" according to the results of a survey of the magazine "Soviet Screen".

In the 1990s, the actress played leading roles in the films “The Executor”, “Oysters from Lausanne”, “Night of Questions...”, “I Myself”, “It is not recommended to offend women”, and the TV series “Waiting Room”.

Film director

In the 1990s, Vera Glagoleva made her debut as a film director, directing a film based on the script by Svetlana Grudovich “Broken Light” - a story about actors who, after the collapse of the Union, cannot find work.

Among her roles in the 2000s are the main roles in the films “Another Woman, Another Man”, “Upside Down”, the TV series “Maroseyka, 12”, “Heiress”, “A Woman Wants to Know...”.

Glagoleva also led the workshop of the theater department of the Moscow Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting "Ostankino".

In 1989, Nakhapetov went to work in the USA, began living there with producer Natalya Shlyapnikoff, and their marriage to Glagoleva broke up. In 1991, at a film festival in Odessa, Glagoleva met businessman Kirill Shubsky, whom she later married. The actress has two daughters from her first marriage, and another daughter from her second.

“What secret could there be? – you shrug your shoulders. “The man bravely fought cancer for several years and died from it.”
Well, yes, she danced at her daughter’s wedding, went to filming, where she worked twelve hours a day, then flew to Switzerland for an examination (for which she was probably preparing - she didn’t eat anything for a day), entered the clinic on her own feet, and an hour and a half later she gone. “No, they don’t die from cancer like that,” timid doubts appeared in the press almost immediately.

followed a new version: “Perhaps the weakened body could not withstand the intense rhythm of life, a difficult flight, stress...”
This is closer to the truth, but still it is not the whole truth.
And the truth is that

Have you ever had surgery? Well, the simplest one - the appendix was removed?.. Then you probably remember that the evening before the operation the anesthesiologist came to you and asked in detail what and when you were sick with, what pills you take, whether you are allergic to different types anesthesia This might seem like a small thing to you, but it is actually very important.
It is especially important for a cancer patient - the pills that the patient takes (and Glagoleva has been on them for a long time) potentiate the effect of anesthesia, so the choice of the drug and its dose is a matter of life and death. Yes, probably, in this case, gastroscopy - and this is the first and most important stage of examination of a stomach cancer patient - should have been done without anesthesia at all, but this is now only practiced in rundown Russian clinics, but not in Switzerland.
Perhaps the doctor chose the wrong medicine and dose. Perhaps Glagoleva did not name all the medications (and there were drugs among them) that she took. I’m afraid no one will ever know this truth. But the fact remains that Glagoleva died during a gastroscopy.
She's not the first, unfortunately. The case is very common - let's say, this is how Yuri Nikulin died. I don’t want to intrude on the issues of medical confidentiality, the financial responsibility of the clinic, and the collectively approved family version. It doesn't matter anymore, and it's too late.

Vera Glagoleva was doomed, and she knew it. Another thing is that she expected - as the doctors convinced her - that she still had one and a half to two years. She was in a hurry to live and lived intensely: she finished one film and was immediately going to start filming the second, last one.
I don’t know a person who would endure the misfortune that befell her so courageously, steadfastly, and with dignity. Only her closest relatives and one friend knew about her diagnosis. She didn’t whine on Facebook (everyone whines to one degree or another), she didn’t collect money for treatment (which almost everyone does), she didn’t appeal for pity, love and compassion - Vera was very strong man with a heightened sense of self-esteem.

Rewatch her anniversary evening on TV - Malakhov knew nothing, her classmates, colleagues, friends did not know - she held on with all her strength, she smiled, joked, thanked some random Meladze, glanced at Guzeeva, who was ready to cry (she knew everything), she encouraged the deaf Zeldin, who would leave before her... There are several editing options online, I watched the most complete one - then episodes were cut out of it, which, after Vera’s death, suddenly acquired a new sound. That's probably right.
Let her remain like this in our memory - light, cheerful, young, happy.

On August 16, a terrible event occurred that shocked the entire country. Died on August 16 famous actress Vera Glagoleva. This event brought pain not only to Vera’s many millions of fans, but, of course, to many of her friends and acquaintances who could not even think that the artist was sick.

IN Lately Vera worked a lot - more than 12 hours a day, she had many planned projects, was going to go to film festivals abroad, began writing a script for new fairy tale. At the wedding of her daughter Anastasia, Vera danced almost more than anyone else. Before coming to the hospital, she communicated in good mood with her friends and into the clinic in Germany, she entered with her own feet, and this is absolutely not typical for terminally ill people. However, a few hours later the actress died.

Doctors and experts say that people don't die from cancer that quickly. Large loads and overloads of the body could cause sudden and rapid death. Oncologist Nauk Pavel Koposov said that people with cancer may be accompanied by a number of diseases, for example, ischemic or hypertensive insufficiency, problems with the heart and blood circulation; an already tired body becomes exhausted and immunity quickly decreases.
