  2. Metrogil denta. The gel is applied to the area affected by stomatitis. The duration of treatment with the drug is about one week.
  3. Holisal. The drug has an analgesic effect. In addition, it has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. The gel can be used from the age of nine months.
  4. Kalgel. This one is combined, because it not only anesthetizes, but also kills pathogenic microorganisms at the same time. This tool should not be used more than six times a day.

The advantages of these gels are considered to be a quick relief from the symptoms of stomatitis, since they act directly on the inflammatory focus.

Wound healing drugs

A pronounced symptom of stomatitis is the formation of ulcers and wounds on the mucous membranes of wounds. To eliminate them, wound healing agents are used.

Solcoseryl is considered the most effective medicine. The drug stimulates the restoration of damaged epithelial tissues. It is recommended to apply the gel after the rinsing procedure.

Aekol is also used - an oil-based solution. The components of the solution are E, A and K. Assign in childhood to apply once every two days.

Vinilin and Sea buckthorn oil also have a regenerating effect.

  4. Ingalipt. This one is combined, it contains essential oils and streptocide. Ingalipt helps eliminate inflammation, kills bacteria, and also reduces pain. Irrigation of the oral cavity is prescribed up to four times a day.

A specialist prescribes a spray for the treatment of stomatitis in children, taking into account the age of the child, the individual characteristics of the organism and contraindications for use.

You can also use iodine-based medicines to treat the oral cavity. These include Iodinol and Lugol. These solutions contain iodine, which has a detrimental effect on pathogenic microorganisms and fungus. Used to treat children from one year old, as young children may swallow the drug.

For the treatment of stomatitis, folk methods are also used. Among them, the most effective are:

  1. Treatment of sores with aloe juice. It is also recommended to simply chew the leaf of the plant. It has a wound healing effect.
  2. Rinsing the mouth with a solution of myrrh and calendula. Rinsing can be done three times a day.
  3. A decoction of chamomile, calendula or nettle. The tool can be prepared from a single plant or collection. To do this, pour a tablespoon of chopped grass with a glass of boiling water and insist for half an hour. Decoction is recommended to rinse the mouth or lubricate the affected areas. Chamomile and calendula have anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties, while nettle is excellent for healing wounds.
  4. Carrot juice. Carrots contain a large amount of vitamins. Therefore, it has a wound-healing effect and relieves the inflammatory process.

When treating stomatitis in children, it is important to remember that only a specialist can prescribe medications after establishing the underlying cause of the disease.
