Tanking in this dungeon is not particularly needed, but massive area damage will be in the subject, as well as good personal damage for melee, for large Dwemer centurions.   2. The dungeon has an almost round-and-round route. There is a moment in the video when we realize that we had to go in the opposite direction, and we had to return. This is in single games like the same Morrowind, everything is simple: I cleaned the dungeon and walk there quietly. But this place is haunted and chills him. There are a lot of imps around. And the whisper ... He terrifies him and warns him to stay away.
But this place now belongs to him and no disembodied voice will make him turn back!
You offer him help. He says that although this place looks like ruins, it belongs to his family and in fact is all that he has left. He asks to search the ruins and understand why this place is cursed and what can be done about it. Should I call a priest to perform the ritual? In the mines, we perform some simple action and the ghost of that very girl appears in front of us.
She is hysterical, says that we do not understand what we are doing, we do not understand what she lost in order to take revenge on the Belborns She lost ... her child ... Briefly recounts what happened, she said to pray that she was not born yet child. And someone answered? You do not understand. Akatosh, Daedra - it doesn't matter, as long as the child is alive!
So what happened?

The addon is positioned as a story addon, that is, its main component is history, travel to new places and the passage of quests. In this sense, it is not the most ordinary MMORPG, because the creators of the game really are the fact that TES is a purely "single-coil franchise". The only fundamental difference is that quests can be completed with friends.

The story tells how the inhabitants of Alinor began to receive guests for the first time in history. As you know, in the third era, the high elves led the Aldmeri Dominion, which, in addition to the "titular" race, included 2 more peoples - the wood elves and the Khajiit (Kajiit). Queen Ayrenn issued a decree to open the borders.

The idea is to "lure" all other races into the Dominion. Of course, the ancient elven nobility did not approve of the queen's edict. Alinorians have always considered themselves superior to other Tamrielans, and if racism can be imagined in fantasy, Summerset is its cradle. The protagonist joins a small circle of royal agents investigating a palace conspiracy ...

Complex plot

Immediately after getting out of the time-space trap. In Summerset, the developers have changed the initial quest line again. If the main character escaped from slavers, now he is a century-old prisoner of a certain entity that calls itself K'Tora.

The aimless wandering of the character through the nooks of his own consciousness was interrupted by the visit of a representative of the Psijic Order. She helps to recover after hibernation and releases into the world. It all starts quite harmlessly - the character runs on small errands for the Khajiit Razum-dara, trying to overcome the endless everyday hatred of the elves for strangers.

Somewhere it is even justified, but basically it is the fruit of the activities of a radical group, which not only hangs around with the princes of Daedra, but also intends to seize the capital of Summerset. Gradually, the plotline of the conspiracy begins to intersperse with the more sinister history of K'Tora and other evil monsters that threaten both Alinor and all of Tamriel.

The creators of The Elder Scrolls: Summerset were once again able to create a complex storyline that you won't see in every single player game, and even more so in MMOs. The main quest chain will take 8-10 hours to complete and tell a great story in the spirit of the TES series. The problem is that adherents of classic MMORPGs may not appreciate the depth of the plot, because they are interested in other content of the add-on.

New province - Summerset

The addition is notable for the choice of location. The Elder Scrolls have wanted Summerset for years, and now it's finally possible. The Elder Scrolls used to be appreciated by fans for the opportunity to visit almost all provinces, but now there are even more choices. The new location is the large Summerset Isle.

Previously, players could only get to Auridon - a small island in the neighborhood, which for many years served as a kind of "buffer" zone between the house of the high elves, where access to outsiders is closed, and settlements of other races. Summerset is twice the size of Aurion and has its own unique flora and fauna. For example, only here griffins are found - the most dangerous flying predators.

The entire territory can be conditionally divided into 6 districts, each of which has a city, a set of side quests and interesting places to visit. In The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, they returned because they felt a great threat to the whole world was approaching. Actually, one of the Psijics saves the player's character from the mental captivity of K'Tor. Subsequently, the player will meet with the monks more than once and will even receive an invitation to their order, which will open access to a new group of skills.

All of them are aimed at manipulating time and matter. For example, the Undo spell allows you to move a few seconds back in time, "rewinding" the state of the character's parameters. This helps to get out of even the most difficult situations. For example, when in PvP a character receives "procast" from an opponent player. However, in PvE, the skill is used to restore mana and stamina.

Another skill called Time Stop places the enemy in a time bubble, slowing down or even stopping their movement. Great for simplifying raid battles when a group is forced to fight multiple dangerous foes. And the Meditate skill is a real gift in PvE, allowing you not to wait for health and mana recovery after a battle.

Membership in the Order does not provide answers to many questions that plague fans. The developers decided to keep the intrigue and arranged everything so that the main character, although he becomes a formal member of the group, but does not have access to their holy of holies, remaining by and large a field agent who does not have to know a lot and his "bosses".

Jewelry making

Artisans have some new features too with the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset. Finally, you can "craft" not only armor and weapons, but also luxury items - rings, amulets and all sorts of pendants.

Yes, earlier such things could be enchanted, but now adherents of jewelry can create rings with predetermined properties.

Of course, for this you will have to look for special ingredients - rare metals, precious stones and magical reagents. Many of them can be found only in the most dangerous corners of Tamriel, but the opportunity to strengthen your character with 2 powerful rings and one amulet is worth it. Now, at the launch of the add-on, the services of experienced jewelers are very expensive, so you can make good money!

New raid and other challenges

Why do you need a cool "gear" if you don't go anywhere in it? Summerset has a brand new raid set in the village of Cloudrest. A special secret police force of the high elves was forced to evacuate the entire population of this city after it was under the influence of a spell that turned living creatures into bloodthirsty monsters.

Like other raids, the Cloudrest mess is designed for a large group of players (12 people) and for a few hours of play. During this time, you can deal with several side bosses, meet with the boss Velkinar. Interestingly, the raid also has a plot component: as you progress through, you can learn more about the forces that control the villain and his minions.

As a reward for passing, characters will be able to receive parts of 4 new sets of armor and weapons, and in the end, players even get a choice - to remove the enchantment and return Velkinar's mind or kill him, putting an end to his atrocities. By and large, this choice doesn't affect anything, but it's still great to watch the squabbles in the chat, when the raid participants can't decide how to end the story of Cloudrest's crisis.

For those players who are not yet ready to fight in high-level opponents, the developers have in store other types of activity: new public dungeons, world bosses and one classic dungeon Abyssal Geysers. The latter came out interesting, but short. Especially considering that this is the only full-fledged "dungeon" in the entire expansion.

The plot comes first

Summerset is hard to compete with the previous major add for The Elder Scrolls Online. The Morrowind update not only brought players back to the unusual island of Vvardenfell, which gamers loved so much after the release, but also provided more content. For example, then a new class appeared in the game, and along with it several new skills with their own "skills" appeared.

Summerset costs 1399 rubles on Steam, which is the price of a good single player game. And, suddenly, the addon is exactly what it is, because in the foreground the developers have it is the plot and adventures in the world of "The Elder Scrolls". Of course, the DLC also has other content: a new raid, dungeons, Psijic skills, jewelry making and a large area to explore. Unfortunately, the Russian localization was not added again, so you will have to install the patch with the fan translation again.
