Further: “Blessed are you on the throne...”, and the 1st troparion of the canon of the Menaion. “Blessed are you in the firmament...”, and the 2nd troparion of the canon of the Menaion. “Glory” is the 3rd troparion of the canon of the Menaion, “And now” is the Theotokos of the Menaion. The 7th canto is not covered by the Iirmos, but the 8th canto is immediately versified.
Note. Versification of the entire 6th and 7th biblical cantos in this case is necessary for the reason that on Saturday morning of the 1st week it is intended to verse the biblical songs not in the Lenten edition, but according to the sections of Irmology “We sing to the Lord” or “We sing to the Lord”, in which the 6th and 7th biblical songs are not fully sung, and, therefore, not all biblical songs would be fully sung during the 1st week of Lent. Therefore, the Typikon proposes to fully verse the 6th and 7th cantos on Friday (Typikon, ch. 49, Friday evening of the 1st week, 2nd “see”; ch. 48, February 24, 9th Markov chapter; ch. 48, March 24, 3rd and 4th “see”). In the services of Saturdays of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th weeks of Great Lent, the 6th and 7th biblical hymns must be sung in full (in the Lenten version) in a row at Matins. On Friday of the 5th and 6th weeks it is recommended to do the same as on the 1st week of Lent.

In 2019, the forefeast of the Annunciation falls on Saturday of the 4th week. Holy Mother of God. In this case, the biblical songs at Matins on Saturday of the 4th week will not be sung in the Lenten version.

In the service of the Octoechos 1–7 voices, the 1st martyr is in the 1st group of stichera on “Lord, I cried” (see in the Octoechos on Friday evening); the other three are martyred - in the 2nd group there is stichera. In the service of the 8th tone, the arrangement of the texts is different: in the 1st group of stichera on “Lord, I cried” there are 3 martyrdoms, but there is no fourth martyrdom (the 2nd group of stichera does not contain martyrdoms). Thus, when performing the service of the Octoechos in the 8th tone, one should sing the stichera of the 1st group of martyrs, repeating the first of them: “Martyrs of the Lord...”.

In the service of the Octoechos 1–7 voices, the 1st martyr is in the 1st group of stichera on “Lord, I cried” (see in the Octoechos on Friday evening); the other three are martyred - in the 2nd group there is stichera. In the service of the 8th tone, the arrangement of the texts is different: in the 1st group of stichera on “Lord, I cried” there are 3 martyrdoms, but there is no fourth martyrdom (the 2nd group of stichera does not contain martyrdoms). Thus, when performing the service of the Octoechos in the 8th tone, one should sing the stichera of the 1st group of martyrs, repeating the first of them: “Martyrs of the Lord...”.

Versification of the entire 6th and 7th biblical cantos in this case is necessary for the reason that on Saturday morning of the 1st week it is intended to verse the biblical songs not in the Lenten edition, but according to the sections of Irmology “We sing to the Lord” or “We sing to the Lord”, in which the 6th and 7th biblical songs are not fully sung, and, therefore, not all biblical songs would be fully sung during the 1st week of Lent. Therefore, the Typikon proposes to fully verse the 6th and 7th cantos on Friday (Typikon, ch. 49, Friday evening of the 1st week, 2nd “see”; ch. 48, February 24, 9th Markov chapter; ch. 48, March 24, 3rd and 4th “see”).
