Le Georges

With its spectacular location atop the Center Pompidou and its futuristic architecture, people don't really come to Georges for food, but for the trendy crowd and fabulous panoramic views. By day it's popular mostly with museum patrons, by night it's less of an art crowd than a fashion crowd, with DJs on decks and loudness that rocks. On the food side, it's a trendy, cosmopolitan brasserie with fusion touches (try the famous Tigre qui Pleur, a Thai-spiced sliced steak). Staff with a special attitude are all part of the experience. After 20:50 walk from Rambuteau via the escalator.

Les Ombres

Another exclusive favorite among locals in the know is Les Ombres. Located on the rooftop of the Musée du quai Branly, the restaurant was designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel. The tables sit under a beautiful trellis glass ceiling and boast fantastic views of the city, including the Eiffel Tower. Chef Frédéric Claudel, formerly of La Bauhinia at the Shangri-La Paris, prepares contemporary French cuisine with a focus on freshness and seasonality. Les Ombres is open for lunch and dinner. Recommended: open ravioli filled with Brittany lobster, clam shells, roman salad, pea and clam broth.

Kong

Overlooking the Seine, this designer restaurant in the sky is located on the last two floors of Kenzo's headquarters, in front of the Pont Neuf, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Ultra-modern decor by Philippe Starck, menu by Fumiko Kono. Halfway between Paris and Tokyo, you'll be surrounded by Louis XV armchairs, plasma screens, fluorescent stairs and a pebble carpet. Kong is very Parisian, luxurious and affordable at the same time for everyone.

Le ciel de paris

While the Montparnasse Tower, which opened in 1973, is not the most attractive building in Paris, its views are unmatched. El Ciel de Paris is located on the 56th floor and has been redesigned by French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. The hall space is modern and simple; the tables are positioned under the canopy of floating discs that provide soft amber lighting. Chef Christophe Marchais is at the forefront of the kitchen and serves fine French cuisine with foie gras, caviar and lobster. CitySoulClub recommends: Marinated lotte (angler) and Saint-Marcelin cheese for dessert.

Dinner in an elegant restaurant overlooking the Eiffel Tower, what could be more romantic?

Hour. cor. and the popular blogger Olga Bebekina will tell us about the most romantic restaurants in Paris:

Les Ombres, 27 Quai Branly

The restaurant is located on the rooftop of the Quai Branly Museum, which contains art from Africa, Asia, Oceania and America and was designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel.

First of all, people come to Les Ombres for a stunning view - a fully glazed panoramic terrace allows you to see the Eiffel Tower at a glance, and it itself practically falls into your plate, the restaurant is so close to the main symbol of Paris.

The place is popular with both tourists and Parisians. Despite the rather high prices, the cuisine can be disappointing, as well as the service. Let's say my seafood ravioli was far from perfect, and my cheesecake was downright tasteless. The average bill per person is 100 euros, depending on the wine. You need to book a table in advance, especially for dinner.

Kong, 1 Rue du Pont Neuf

The Kong restaurant is famous for several things: firstly, it is a restaurant designed by Philippe Starck, secondly, the glass dome and the location on the roof allow you to enjoy a picturesque view of the center of Paris, and thirdly, it was here that one of the Parisian episodes was filmed. "Sex and the City" - a meeting of Kerry Bradshaw with the ex-wife of her beloved Frenchman.

Despite the criticism of the restaurant of this very wife and more than 10 years of history, the restaurant is a great success. Easily recognizable Kartell chairs made of transparent plastic, Asian motifs, caring staff, and of course, the very same glass dome will not leave indifferent even a sophisticated guest.

By the way, the cuisine here is also excellent - Asian, but with a French accent. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Paris.

There is a cocktail bar on the ground floor, so make sure to book a table with the obligatory mention of where you want to dine.

Average bill - 70 euros excluding wine (for example, filet mignon with yuzu sauce and green beans - 36 euros, ravioli with shrimps and crab - 24 euros).

Le Georges, 19 Rue Beaubourg

If you love contemporary art, I think you will be interested in the rooftop restaurant Le Georges of the Georges Pompidou Center. The design of the restaurant fully reflects the atmosphere of a museum of modern art - metal structures, glass and unusual shapes. True, all this is not so noticeable compared to the breathtaking view of the city - Beaubourg is located below, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower can be seen in the distance, and all this is among the romantic gray roofs of Parisian houses.

It is worth going up here even if you are not hungry, just drink champagne or wine and enjoy Paris. Prices are above average - for example, duck with tangerine sauce will cost 34 euros, and foie gras - 28.

La maison blanche, 15 avenue Montaigne

In the golden triangle of Paris, on the roof of the Champs Elysees Theater, not far from the most expensive boutiques and the Plaza Athenee hotel-palace, the La Maison Blanche restaurant is located, from the terrace of which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and the Seine.

Actually, for the sake of appearance, they come here.

The prices, as you might expect, are appropriate - first courses from 27 euros, the second from 33, and desserts from 17 euros. 6-course tasting menu - 110 euros.

Café Marly, 93 Rue de Rivoli

The view from Café Marly overlooks the Louvre courtyard with its glass pyramids and historic façade. Under the arches of the gallery, you can relax after visiting the museum or, on the contrary, gain strength in front of it.

By the way, this is the most budget option of all of the above - for example, fried chicken breast with mango and curry costs 25 euros, and until 8 pm you can taste the traditional croc monsieur or croc madame for 15 and 16 euros, respectively.

Le jules verne, Tour Eiffel

This restaurant is known to everyone who has ever visited Paris. The establishment settled right on the Eiffel Tower, from a 125-meter height, a beautiful view of the city opens up. This restaurant has only two drawbacks: obscenely high prices and the lack of a view of the Eiffel Tower itself.

To get the coveted seat near the window, you need to book a table several months in advance! By the way, Le Jules Verne is now managed by Alain Ducasse, the main restaurateur in France and the chef of several restaurants with three Michelin stars.

The cuisine is in keeping with the atmosphere of the place and modern fashion: creative but truly French. Prices can be compared to the height of the restaurant: lunch will cost 98 euros, and dinner - from 185 euros for one without wine.

Le capitaine fracasse

Another great option for a romantic dinner is Le Capitaine Fracasse, aboard a boat that will slowly sail along the Seine. Thus, you can enjoy food and take a cruise on the Seine (which is absolutely necessary to do in Paris), and see the main symbols of the city - the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Les Invalides, Musée d'Orsay.

Dinner and cruise prices start at 60 euros. The duration of the trip is 2 hours. Of course, dinner must be booked in advance, on the official website you will find the cruise schedule.

What do you think about when you hear France? If Paris is in your list of associations, wine and delicious food, then this article is for you! Combine these components veryeasy - book a table in one of ten restaurants with the most interesting views to Paris.
