Because of the sloppy animation, Spider-Man's acrobatics look so clumsy and twitchy that there is no feeling of flying on the web, no sense of the character's plasticity, no sense of his capabilities. The Lizard (villain), who in the film was very inferior to his comic and cartoon counterpart, here looks so flattened and fake that it seems as if Spider-Man is fighting with a crazy cosplayer. The city that Spider-Man defends from the flattened Lizard doesn't look the best either. Not buildings, but cardboard boxes decorated with buildings, not cars, but papier-mâché in the form of cars, not people, but... perhaps that’s enough. But the combat, although very simple, can be enjoyable. There is nothing unusual here, we just use one or two buttons to kill enemies until they fall, but the pleasure is comparable to examples of the Beat "em up genre from the times of the Sega Mega Drive and Super Nintendo. Yes, this pleasure is quite primitive, but it does a lot to kill time in To be honest, if you cut out flying on the web and acrobatics, which Gameloft implemented extremely poorly and clumsily, then the game turns into a good “beat ’em up.” But nothing more.
In conclusion, we can only regret that one of the latest games about Spider-Man came out not only without an independent plot, but also of very poor quality. Let's hope that the next adventures of our favorite hero will be more interesting and with a new story that is not tied to modern films.

As for the plot of the game, overall it turned out well, the plot is really interesting, so you play with pleasure, and it’s really interesting to find out how it all ends. It is also worth noting the drawing of the female characters; almost all of them, for the most part, turned out extremely well. And the enemies, although unfortunately quite stupid, at least look interesting, so it was fun to fight with them for a while.

Many films have already been made based on the stories of Peter Parker, and the range of PC games is simply amazing. Not long ago, Gameloft decided to release a universe-themed game on mobile devices. To my surprise, the first part turned out quite well. What happened to the second one - we’ll figure it out right now.
Gameplay
The main protagonists and enemies of the main character in the new part are Venom, Electro, Green Goblin and his minions. New York, traditionally for all games based on superhero universes, is mired in crime, and only Peter Parker can correct the situation...
The open world has always been a strong point of Gameloft games, and the subject of today's review is no exception. Compared to the previous part, the map has expanded significantly, and there are more recognizable locations. In addition, it’s nice to see numerous Easter eggs and references to comic books. It’s interesting to explore the world, fortunately the web allows you to climb almost anywhere.
Of course, the main character can be easily dressed up in different skins, which open as you complete various missions. There are also paid clothes - but they are no different from ordinary ones in anything special.
I personally was very pleased with the excellent voice acting of all the characters. In addition to the plot, built on the original Marvel films, it is always pleasant to hear the familiar voices of already beloved heroes.
Graphic arts
The graphic component has undergone significant changes in the second part. Full dynamic lighting, Motion-Blur and image stabilization when moving have been added. The quality of textures has been increased, and the maximum draw distance has also become larger. Of course, only owners of powerful devices will be able to experience all the innovations. 3D graphics of this level are practically unplayable on older devices with dual-core processors and 512 MB of RAM.
Control
In addition to controlling Spider-Man with a virtual joystick, you can connect a gamepad, keyboard and mouse. Overall, I liked the controls - they are clear and responsive.

I'm a huge fan of Fart Man. Including comics based on this character, all films and games. Although with the latter, some kind of absurdity constantly happens: either the graphics deteriorate, or the combat skills were not prescribed and it turns out that the Spider is not capable of anything except the web, then the textures of New York high-rise buildings literally suck in the character. In general, I didn’t try to see anything new in this version of the game. However, I was wrong. To date, this is the best Spider-Man game for Android media.
As the developers write, in the second part of the game they eliminated errors from the first version, thereby improving the gameplay. What changes ultimately took place?
· Completely new missions and tasks;
· Acute storyline;
· Improved rendering of the city of New York and the character himself. Again, no major errors were observed in the distortion and appearance of textures during the game;
· Spider-Man is not a simple crawling creature, but a real machine for fighting on the street. The character has a huge number of different keyboard combinations for attacks in his arsenal;
· The villains that Spidey meets are all well-drawn and very vibrant. The developers put 6 main villains from the original Marvel comics into one game.
During the game, until the main storyline begins, Spider-Man will perform small tasks for which he receives money and reputation. Yes, everything is not as selfless as in the comics themselves, but still. With each new reputation level, the player has the opportunity, firstly, to progress further through the story, and secondly, to receive more information from the police. And for monetary income from small missions, the player can buy his character a more advanced suit and, in principle, improve the hero’s characteristics. However, as in all games on Android, there is also a donation and it must be said that it is not cheap.
But despite the expensive donation, it’s still worth downloading The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Android for fans of the franchise. An interesting and high-quality game has everything it needs to become a favorite among Spidey fans.
