Transport of Evpatoria
Evpatoria is connected to the cities of Ukraine and the CIS countries by rail, road, water, and air transport. In summer, you can arrive by direct trains from Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Vorkuta. Autumn-winter period - from Kyiv and Moscow. If there is no direct train, you can get to the Simferopol station, from where a train, bus, or taxi will take you to Evpatoria. The train runs quite frequently in summer, with early morning until late evening, the route itself takes about two hours. In addition, buses depart from the Kurortnaya bus station (located on Station Square) approximately every half hour. If you arrived in Simferopol by plane, use a regular bus or order a transfer.
Buses and minibuses are the main form of transport in the Autonomous Republic; they can be used to get to any city or village in Crimea. This type of transport on the peninsula is widespread both in cities and intercity traffic.
Intracity transportation is carried out by buses, taxis, including shuttle buses. Children who come on vacation are transported by special buses, accompanied by traffic police officers.
From railway station or the Kolkhoz Market in Evpatoria, buses and minibuses depart to the village. Zaozerny (Chaika microdistrict), Mirny, Shtormovoye, Molochnoe, the fare depends on the distance. The Evpatoria tram will seem unusual to you; the cars were built several decades ago, small but cozy, and the townspeople love them. In summer, as a rule, they are crowded. The tram line is single track - you can't speed up. At stops, trams wait for oncoming people to pass. For a purely symbolic fee, you can take tram No. 3 from the station with transfers to Tereshkova embankment, st. Simferopol, sanatorium Dnepr, Orlyonok, Tavria, etc. The tram in Evpatoria is an exotic transport, so it’s difficult to talk about mobility.
The tram in Yevpatoria is an old mode of transport: it was first launched in 1914, along a single route, which then ran in coastal zone. For the first time, it was used mainly for skiing by wealthy residents and vacationers of the city.
