Due to the fact that 2013 has been declared the Year of Environmental Protection, the theme of this year’s Youth Photo Contest is ecology. Traditionally providing an opportunity for the manifestation of creative individuality, this year the competition gives young people the opportunity to leave their mark on the life of the city, drawing the attention of residents to the need to improve the urban environment.

Ecology and our care for it can be a real art. It is photography that allows you to capture the environment in static, allows you to take a deeper and more meaningful look at the world and the people in it, ask yourself pressing questions and try to give answers to them.

Photography is a medium that can move people's minds to think about where and how we live, and what each of us may need to do to make a positive impact on the situation. The “Habitat” photo competition is a unique opportunity not only to express your thoughts and lifestyle to others, but also to spend amazing time alone with nature.

General provisions.

1.1. The youth photo competition “Habitat” (hereinafter referred to as the Photo Competition) is a creative competition aimed at promoting amateur and professional photography, creating conditions for stimulating the creative activity of youth, awakening young people’s interest in their hometown, and introducing participants to an interesting and meaningful pastime.

1.2. Anyone between the ages of 14 and 30 can take part in the photo competition, regardless of citizenship, race, place of residence and other factors.

1.3. The photo competition is held on the territory of the Chaikovsky municipal district.

Goals and objectives of the Photo Competition.

Development of aesthetic perception of young citizens,

Attracting the attention of young people to environmental issues,

Developing a responsible and positive attitude towards life in young people.

2.2. Tasks:

To popularize photography among young people as an accessible way of self-expression, to stimulate the creative growth and activity of young photographers;

Encourage photographers who take pictures on environmental topics and express their views through positive photography;

To attract the attention of young people to the sights and history of the Chaikovsky municipal district;

Contribute to the prevention of socially dangerous phenomena by attracting attention to creative, active and meaningful forms of leisure.

“SAUZOVO - in the lens!”

  1. General provisions

The photo competition “SAUZOVO - in the Lens” (hereinafter referred to as the Photo Competition) is held within the framework of the Year of Ecology in the Republic of Bashkortostan, in order to popularize family and children’s leisure, interaction of children and adolescents with nature in the Krasnokamsk region of the Republic of Bashkortostan, development of local tourism and popularization of the SAUZOVO Recreation Center "

These Regulations are presented for review to all interested parties applying for participation in the Photo Competition. This Regulation is published in the public domain on the website www.bazasauzovo.ru, as well as on social networks.

The main goal of the Photo Competition is to show the benefits of local recreation and tourism using the example of the SAUZOVO Recreation Center.

Objectives of the Photo Contest:

Revealing through photography interesting and attractive aspects of local recreation and tourism;

Strengthening the attractiveness of tourism near their place of residence in the minds of local residents;

Development of creative abilities and aesthetic taste of amateur photographers, popularization of creative activities.

2. Conditions for the photo competition

Professional and non-professional photographers can participate in the Photo Contest, regardless of age, gender, place of residence, occupation and hobbies.

The photo competition is held in two categories: “SAUZOVO – wonderful!” and “SAUZOVO - with a smile!”, that is, photographs must be taken on the territory of the SAUZOVO Recreation Center or in its immediate vicinity (a view of the base is required).

In each nomination, no more than 5 (five) works will be accepted from a participant.

Participation in the competition by teams of authors, photography studios, editorial offices, as well as other associations and organizations is allowed.

There is no fee for participation in the competition, works are not reviewed, works remain at the disposal of the organizers , with the right of commercial use.

  1. Rights and obligations of Participants and Organizer.

3.1. Participation in the competition implies full familiarization and agreement of the Participants with these Regulations.

3.2. By submitting digital photographs for publication to participate in the competition, the Participant:

3.3. The organizer has the right not to allow photographs that do not meet the requirements to participate in the competition without providing additional explanations.

3.4. The organizer has the right to refuse to provide a prize to the winner of the competition if he has violated the Regulations on the competition, untimely or incorrectly provided the necessary information about himself.

Participation in the Photo Contest means the author’s consent to further possible publication of these works on a royalty-free basis. At the same time, the authors retain copyright, as well as the right to publish and exhibit photographic works. An exhibition of selected works will be organized at the Central Children's Library of Neftekamsk at st. Lenina, 30, indicating the name and surname of the author of the work.

Photos submitted to the Photo Contest may be rejected from participation in the Photo Contest in the following cases:

The photographs do not correspond to the theme of the competition;

Low artistic or technical quality of photographs;

Photographs in which elements of violence, racial or religious intransigence can be recognized.

  1. Procedure for holding a photo competition

06/01/2017 – 08/31/2017 – submission of applications, registration of participants;

08/31/2017 – 09/14/2017 – review of works by the competition committee, summing up the results, determining the winners;

09/15/2017 – awarding of the winners of the Photo Competition, demonstration of the works of the Photo Competition participants at the photo exhibition

  1. Application Procedure

To participate in the Photo Contest, you must send an e-mail to the organizing committee [email protected] (indicating PHOTO COMPETITION in the subject line) photographic works in electronic form in JPG format, suitable for printing in A3 format (300dpi)

The file name must contain: Last name, first name of the author and title of the work. The content of the email must also include the contact details of the Photo Contest participant: Full name. author, place of residence, phone number and email address, in which nomination each work takes part.

  1. Evaluation procedure

Expert assessment of the works submitted to the Photo Competition is carried out by a competition commission, which includes:

The competition committee reviews the submitted works and determines the winners. The awards are carried out by the Organizers of the Photo Contest.

The jury has the right to issue additional incentive prizes to the authors of photographs.

For a uniform comparison of competitive works, the following evaluation criteria were selected:

Compliance with the theme and location of the competition;

Originality;

General perception;

The artistic level of the work;

Originality of the idea and content of the work;

Technique and quality of workmanship.

  1. Results of the Photo Competition and awards for participants

Based on the results of the Photo Contest, the winner in each category is determined in accordance with the number of votes received. The winners of the Photo Contest will be awarded valuable prizes.

The award ceremony for the winners, as well as an exhibition of works participating in the Photo Competition, will be held on September 15, 2017.

Regulations on the photography competition

"Me and my city"

I. General provisions

1.1​ The organizer of the Photo Competition is the administration of the Furmanovsky municipal district, the municipal government institution “Department of Culture of the Administration”, the municipal budget institution “Central Palace of Culture”.

1.1​ Purpose of the Photo Contestvisual reflection of all aspects of the life and activities of society, drawing attention to the unique features of the Furmanovsky municipal district.

1.1​ Objectives of the Photo Contest:

Attract the attention of citizens to history, culture, nature Furmanovsky municipal district;

To reveal the importance of modern problems in the preservation and use of cultural heritage and to help in cultivating a caring attitude towards one’s hometown;

Express love for your native land through the language of photography;

Discover new names and support talents;

To popularize photography as an art form;

It is worthy to decorate with an exhibition of works from the photo competition “Me and My City” in

holidays and Day of the Furmanovsky municipal district.

II. Conditions for the photo competition

2.1​ Professional and non-professional photographers, regardless of gender, occupation and hobbies, can take part in the Photo Contest. The age of participants is not limited.

2.1​ No more than 5 works will be accepted from each participant.

2.1​ Participation in the competition by teams of authors, photography studios, editorial offices, as well as other associations and organizations is allowed.

2.1​ There is no fee to participate in the competition.

2.1​ Applicants found to have plagiarized or used someone else's ideas will be disqualified and not allowed to participate in the competition further.

2.1​ Participation in the Photo Contest means the author’s consent to the subsequent non-commercial use of his work indicating the name (nickname) of the author of the work.

2.1 Photos submitted to the Photo Contest may be rejected from participation in the Photo Contest in the following cases:

- photos do not correspond to the theme of the competition;

- low artistic or technical quality of photographs;

- photographs that have an erotic component, as well as photographs in which elements of violence, racial or religious intransigence can be recognized.

2.1 Subjects of photographs:

III. Competition nominations

3.1​ “There is no more beautiful land in the world...”- views of the city’s nature at different times of the year;

3.1​ “Portrait of a resident of Furmanov“- a photographic portrait, in addition to the external, individual appearance, conveying the character of a person, his spiritual world, reflecting the era in which he lives;

3.1​ "Every dog ​​has his day"- photographs of events, holidays, sports competitions, competitions, etc., held in the Furmanovsky municipal district.

IV. Procedure for holding a photo competition

On the Day of the Furmanovsky Municipal District - August 27, 2016 - it is planned to hold an exhibition of submitted works for viewing by townspeople and guests of the holiday.

4.2 To participate in the Photo Contest, you must send it to the organizing committee at st. Socialisticheskaya, 15, office 66 or by email: furmanov_ksmp@ma il.ru :

-​ application (Appendix No. 1) for participation in Photo competition;

- photographic works in electronic form, in JPG format, suitable for printing in A4 format (each photograph submitted to the competition must have an author and title), as well as printed in A4 format. Works must be decorated (frames, mats, inscriptions).

V. Evaluation procedure

5.1​ Expert evaluation of the works submitted to the Photo Contest is carried out by the competition commission.

5.1​ The competition commission reviews the submitted works, determines the winners in each category, and awards.

5.1​ The selection of the winners of the Photo Contest is carried out during voting at an in-person meeting by the competition commission. The winners are determined by the sum of votes of the members of the competition commission in each nomination

5.1​ Criteria for evaluating works submitted to the competition:

-​ compliance of the photograph with the requirements and nominations specified in these Regulations;

- general perception;

- artistic level of the work;

- originality of the idea and content of the work;

-​ technique and quality of execution;

-​ maximum naturalness of the frame, absence of distorting photo processing, collaging, photomontage, etc.

VI. Results of the Competition and awarding of participants

6.1​ The winners of the Photo Competition are divided into three prize places, in accordance with the decision of the competition commission.

6.1​ The winners of the Photo Contest, who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, will receive valuable prizes and diplomas of the participant in the “Me and My City” Photo Contest.

6.1​ The awarding of the winners will take place in the Summer Garden at a gala event dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Furmanovsky Municipal District on August 27, 2016.

6.1​ All participants of the Photo Competition, whose works will be submitted for participation in the competition, will be awarded Participant Diplomas.

VII. Composition of the competition commission

7.1. Works submitted to the Photo Contest will be evaluated by photographers, prominent cultural, artistic and media figures of the Furmanovsky municipal district and Ivanovo region, and social partners.

Regulations on the photography competition “The World Around Us”

1. General Provisions.
1.1. These Regulations regulate the procedure for holding an open photo competition The World Around Us (hereinafter referred to as the photo competition), held on the basis of the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) “Sangara Multidisciplinary Lyceum”
1.2. The purpose of the photo competition is aesthetic and moral education, attracting the attention of young people to the problem of nature conservation.
1.3. The main objectives of the photo competition are:
- revealing the beauty and diversity of the nature of the native land through photography;
- education of patriotism and love for the native land;
-development of the creative potential of youth, their social activity;
- identifying gifted and talented youth, using their artistic and intellectual potential to solve problems related to the harmonization of the relationship between man and nature;
1.4. The subject of the photo competition is the selection of photographs submitted for the photo competition on the following topics:
-Nature close-up (natural objects shot using macro photography);
-The beauty and grandeur of native nature (landscape photography);
-Harmony of man and nature;

A successful freeze frame, or “seize the moment.”

2. Conditions for the photo competition
2.1. Photographs taken by students are accepted for participation in the photo competition.
2.2. Competitive works are accepted until March 30 of the current year and are provided on digital media to the organizing committee. Photos must be of good quality.

2.3. No more than 5 works will be accepted from each participant.
2.4 Participation in the competition is free.
2.5. The works can be used by the organizing committee for the media, posted on the lyceum website or used to create a video.

2.6. The following works are not allowed to participate in the photo competition:
- promoting violence and cruel treatment of nature;
- not corresponding to the topics stated in clause 1.4. this Regulation;
- do not meet the technical requirements of the photo competition.

3. Ensuring the holding of a photo competition
3.1. To ensure the holding of the competition on the basis of the Sangarsky Lyceum, an organizing committee is being created consisting of:

Deputy Director for Educational and Industrial Work;
-Deputy Director for Educational Work;
-psychologist;
- head of the “Theater” circle

3.2. The organizing committee is responsible for:
-collection of materials submitted for the photo competition;
- determination of technical compliance of materials with the requirements of the photo competition;
-preparation and carrying out expert assessment of the works of photo competition participants;
- summing up the results and awarding the winners.

4. Summing up the results of the photo competition
4.1. The results of the photo competition are approved by the Organizing Committee based on the results of the evaluation of the works submitted to the photo competition.
4.2. The winners of the photo competition are awarded diplomas and prizes.
4.3. Based on the results of the photo competition, the best works will be posted on the official website of the Sangarsky Lyceum.
